🎪 Four Incredible Days at Y Not Festival 🎪

From Thursday through to Sunday, the Primary Stars team had the privilege of delivering and facilitating activities across both Family Camping and Strawberry Fields in the main arena 🎉

Throughout the weekend, our team helped create a fun, welcoming and engaging environment for hundreds of children and families through:

🎨 Face Paint, Glitter & Tattoos
⛺ Family Camping Create & Play Zone including Crafts, Sports & Games

🎭 Expressive Arts Workshops, Performers & Entertainment

The biggest thank you goes to our incredible team. The energy, commitment, professionalism and enthusiasm shown across the weekend was outstanding. Whether setting up, delivering activities, supporting families or packing everything away, every single person played a part in making the Family Areas such a huge success 🙏

🌟 ASHBOURNE HAF CAMP - MORE SPACES NOW AVAILABLE! 🌟

Due to a small number of cancellations and non-attendees, we now have a limited number of spaces available on our Ashbourne HAF Camp over the coming days and weeks.
The response to the programme has been incredible, with most of our HAF days reaching full capacity, and many families previously being unable to secure a place.

ASHBOURNE HAF CAMP – OVER 90% FULL! 🌟

WOW! 🤩Thanks to the incredible support from our local schools, parents and community, our Ashbourne HAF Camp is now over 90% full, with several days already completely booked!

A huge thank you to everyone who has shared information with eligible families so far. 🙌

Now we're asking for one final push from our amazing community. The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme provides FREE holiday activities, food and enrichment opportunities for children eligible for Free School Meals, and we want to make sure every remaining place reaches the families who need it most.

🏏🤾 Our Final PEAK Events of the Year! 🤾🏏

What a fantastic way to round off another brilliant year of PEAK events!

Our KS2 pupils enjoyed two exciting competitions, taking part in Speed Cricket and Handball, showcasing fantastic teamwork, determination, resilience and sportsmanship throughout.

It was wonderful to welcome children from Brassington, Biggin, Parwich and Norbury Primary Schools. Every team represented their school brilliantly, encouraging one another, playing with respect and giving their very best in every match.

A huge thank you to Brassington Primary School for hosting our Speed Cricket event, and a special shout-out to Parwich Primary School and Waterhouses Primary Academy for hosting PEAK events throughout the year. Your support has been invaluable in helping us provide so many fantastic sporting opportunities for our pupils.

Thank you to all the pupils, staff and volunteers who have supported our PEAK events throughout the year. We hope you've enjoyed taking part as much as we've enjoyed delivering them, and we can't wait to do it all again next year! 🌟💙

🎉 Our Final ASH Event of the Year – EYFS & KS1 Team Challenge! 🎉

What a fantastic way to round off the year! It was a pleasure to welcome children from Osmaston, Clifton and Hulland for our final ASH event of the year.

The children took part in four exciting team activities – Hoop Relay, Cross the Swamp, Leap and Launch, and Mega Target – demonstrating fantastic teamwork, determination, resilience and encouragement throughout. It was wonderful to see everyone supporting one another, building confidence, and having so much fun!

A huge well done to all the children for their enthusiasm and positive attitudes, and thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. We hope you all enjoyed the Team Challenge as much as we did, and we can't wait to welcome you back for more exciting events next year! 💙🌟

🎪 JCB Family Festival 2026 🎨✨
What an incredible weekend at the JCB Family Festival!
The Primary Stars team had the pleasure of delivering face painting, glitter, temporary tattoos and craft activities to thousands of children and families across the weekend. From rainbows and superheroes to glitter sparkles and endless gem stickers, the activity tents were buzzing from start to finish 🎉
A huge thank you to our amazing team whose energy, enthusiasm and teamwork helped create so many smiles throughout the festival. Their hard work ensured every child had the opportunity to get involved and make lasting memories 😍
We’re proud to have been part of such a fantastic event and would like to thank JCB for inviting Primary Stars to support another brilliant Family Festival ❤️

What an incredible day celebrating our very first ActivLeaders Celebration Day! 🎉💙

It was fantastic to see everyone coming together from, Osmaston, Clifton, Sudbury, and Fitzherbert; getting active, supporting one another, and having so much fun. From the teamwork and strategy of Kabaddi, to the problem-solving in Cross the Swamp, and the brilliant energy during Softball, every activity was filled with enthusiasm, laughter, and determination.

A huge congratulations to all of our amazing ActivLeaders on successfully completing your ActivLeaders Awards! 🏅 Your hard work, commitment, enthusiasm, and leadership throughout the programme have been outstanding, and you should all be incredibly proud of what you've achieved.

Thank you for inspiring others, leading by example, and making a positive difference through sport and physical activity. Here's to celebrating new skills, growing confidence, lasting friendships, and all the exciting opportunities still to come. We can't wait to see what you achieve next! 🌟🙌

What an incredible journey it has been since 17/06/2020.

Over the last 6 years, we’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of children across Derbyshire & Staffordshire, helping them develop confidence, resilience, leadership skills and a lifelong love of being active.

From delivering high-quality curricular PE and enrichment programmes in schools, to holiday camps, cluster sports events, toddler classes, extra-curricular clubs and leadership opportunities, our mission has always remained the same:

⭐ To inspire active futures and create positive experiences for every child we work with.

We are incredibly grateful to the schools, families, communities, partners and dedicated team members who have supported us along the way. Your trust and belief in what we do has helped Primary Stars grow into what it is today.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of children for many years to come.
