Matt Hance’s shooting journey began at age six on his family farm, choosing bird-scaring duties in the cherry orchard🍒 over picking fruit😆. He stuck to rough shooting until his teens, when a surprise second-place finish and a £150 prize 💷 at the CLA Game Fair—while shooting a 16-gauge side-by-side hammer gun—sparked his lifelong competitive career.

Decades later, Matt has built a legendary status in FITASC Sporting. He has captured multiple British Grand Prix, English Open, and UK Championship titles. Above all, Matt values representing his country, earning over 80 caps for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿England and 🇬🇧Great Britain across a career spanning four decades.

Switching to Zoli three years ago was an easy choice. After dealing with a neck injury, Matt tried the Zoli Z-Evo and fell in love🫶 with its incredibly low recoil and smooth handling. Combined with stunning build quality and exceptional trackside support from the Zoli UK service team at major events, it gives him complete confidence on every layout.

"I am a very mechanical shooter, ⚙️I have a simple process that I follow that has enabled me to stay consistent for so many years but I have noticed as I have got older that fatigue can also play a large part in performance, the low recoil plays a major part but being also able to balance the gun so effectively with the aid of the BHP makes it shoot effortlessly, being so precision engineered everything can be tuned to make the setup perfect… this of course in turn gives me immense confidence and that in turn results in a better performance.

I love to compete and to win so I will always strive for that and having the best equipment to hand certainly helps, I’d like to make it to 100 caps for my country… once I achieve this however I will then set a new target lol😉. I know I have more titles in me so will always continue to push for excellence and of course continue to enjoy it at the same time because I truly love our sport."

What started at age nine as a shared hobby with her dad has grown into a passionate competitive shooting career for Lara Dale. Guided by that early inspiration, Lara quickly transitioned from casual rounds into an elite competitor on the international stage.

Her dedication has earned her prestigious 🇬🇧GB and 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿England badges in Olympic S***t, alongside an England badge in English Sporting. Competing at the highest levels, Lara has proudly represented her country and secured silver medals🥈 for the England team at the World Championships in English Sporting events. 💥

When it came to upgrading her equipment, finding the perfect shotgun happened almost by chance🪙. After getting the opportunity to test-fire a Zoli, Lara immediately fell in love 🫶with how the gun felt and handled. Thomas Burns’s journey in clay pigeon shooting began at age 12 at Park Farm, inspired by a simple desire to shoot "just like dad." By 13, he was already competing across the UK in DTL and Sporting disciplines.

That early commitment quickly translated into major competitive success. At just 17, Thomas claimed both the Junior and A-Class Champion titles at the Krieghoff Masters 🏆, alongside an impressive second-place overall finish🥈. He later capped off his junior career with a Gold medal🥇 at the French Grand Prix and recently made history as the first-ever Olympic Trap representative for his home island of Jersey at the Home Internationals. 👏

When it came to choosing his next shotgun, Thomas found a perfect match in Zoli. For him, it’s all about the emotional connection to the craftsmanship—the authentic Italian passion built into the gun, combined with the welcoming, close-knit family atmosphere that Paolo and the Zoli team bring to the sport.
