It’s been a while since we posted.
Unfortunately the Lydd30 League was cancelled after R4 in July (venue decision, not ours).
Below are the final points.
Reece Harris won the Heavyweight Championship with a clean sweep of all 4 rounds & even winning the rounds 1 & 3 overall as well as qualifying on overall pole position in 3 rounds with a worst overall P2 at round 2.
The Lightweight Championship was won by karting newcomer Jonathan Hosier despite no wins, he finished 3rd on both of his appearances at rounds 2 & 4, making him the only driver besides heavy champion Reece Harris to enter multiple rounds.
R4 was won overall by the experienced (and former Sandown Super Champs rival of Reece Harris) Olly Cooper-Welton in the light class, ahead of Luka Nik very closely followed by heavy winner Reece Harris & finally Jonny Hosier who again made big improvements on his pace.
We thank all drivers who did participate & have enjoyed organising our first series, however we now need time to think about what is next for MAD DOG Promotion… 🐶🏁🏎️

Lydd Kart Circuit Lydd30 League points after R3!
Reece Harris Racing continues his dominance of the heavy class with a hat-trick of class wins in the first 3 rounds and his second OVERALL pole & win of the series, he was joined on the podium by newcomers Ian & Samantha Brian.
Alex McCaul wins light class on debut.
The race for the free season of South East Super Cup 2026 is super close in the lightweights with a THREE WAY TIE for the championship lead, will it be Tristam Barden, Gareth Scantlebury or Alex McCaul who takes it in October or will a 4th challenger enter the fight, Charlie McFarlane is only 3 points back from the trio and only another 2 points back to Johnathan Hosier, 5 points covers the top 5, it’s even possible that another new driver or 2 could join the race for the title & the prize.
In the Heavyweights, although Reece Harris remains undefeated, as the owner of MAD DOG Promotion he is ineligible to claim the free season of SESC, meaning that is still held by 2nd place heavyweight & British Legends driver Graham Butler, however he is now tied on points with Ian Brian, it could go either way at this stage, Round 4 on July 19th could be a crucial factor in who wins the prize with both Neil Thomas & Samantha Brian only 2 points back, well within striking distance.
Think you have what it takes? Message us directly to enter. 🐶🏁🏎️
Thank you to Bee Graphics - Canada for the poster. 👏🏻
