Good afternoon all, it has been A few months since you’ve heard from myself. I just wanted to put a reminder to all for this afternoon.
Today from 2pm at The rose we come together to support The family and toast to the life Of Del King ❤️. This young man, sadly passed, but he had a wonderful attitude on life, he always played with a smile and I’m sure he gave time for everyone. He played the game like we should take life. Always on his stride and just enjoyed playing.
I’d love to see as many of you as possible this afternoon to remember and drink to a wonderful gentlemen that the league and Ashford community has sadly lost.

Tonight's fixtures in the apl, good luck to all teams and players this evening

In Loving Memory of Del King
It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news that we have lost one of our long-standing league players, Del King, who passed away last week.

Del was an absolute gent — a brilliant character with an infectious smile who lit up the room and the tables every time he played. Anyone who had the pleasure of facing him across the baize will remember his warmth, his wit, and the sheer joy he brought to the game. He wasn't just a great player; he was a great friend to everyone in our league, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Del's family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, mate. 🎱❤️

A Gathering in Del's Honour
Del's daughter has kindly shared the following message with us:

"We are holding a get-together for Dad at the Rose pub on Sunday, the 20th of September, from about 2 o'clock, just to raise a glass or two."

If you're able to make it, we know it would mean a great deal to Del's family to see familiar faces there, sharing stories and celebrating a life well lived.

When: Sunday, 20th September, from 2pm Where: The Rose pub

Come and raise a glass to a true gent of the game.
