Sorry for the late update been one hell of a week!

Tomorrow the lads face a very tough test against a very good Church Inn side who currently sit top of division one in the Tameside league!

Due to a mix up with the pitches the game will be held at King George’s Park in Ashton at the usual time of 10:30.

Today game end in defeat for the lads against a very strong Oxford side.

Regardless of the result the lads gave a very good account of themselves and even took the lead early on in the game and went into the break ahead!

Onto the next game for the lads and thanks to The Oxford for a very good game!

We have now had confirmation of our league for this year! After some feedback from teams we have played in preseason the league have decided to enter us into the top division of The Hyde and Oldham Sunday league 👌

Fixtures should be out no later than tomorrow so we will update everyone as soon as we can!

Should be an interesting season incoming watch this space

Miners Arms fc 2-2 FC Glossop

Our final preseason freindly ends all square! A really good test for the lads today… due to a few last minute drop outs we had to move a few players out of position which really did test us at times but the lads stood firm and put in a very hard fought performance which we probably should of won!

The preseason has been long but I am in no doubt the lads are now ready for the season and ready to mount a real challenge in the league this season!

Thanks once again for all our support through preseason hopefully see you all next season for a big start to the 26/27 season!

FULL TIME RESULT FROM YESTERDAYS GAME!

Miners Arms FC 1-2 Chappell FC

Our fantastic winning run came to an end yesterday against a very good and well organised Chappell FC team. Despite the result there are so many positives to take away from the game to say we played a team 2 divisions higher than us we definitely held our own and have shown more than enough to suggest we will be a force to be reconned with next season!

The lads grafted from the first whistle to the last and it’s really pleasing to see how far we have come in a short space of time to say 2 months ago most of us didn’t know each other the determination and fight for each other between them white line is amazing!

We finish our preseason this Sunday against Glossop (venue to be confirmed)

Have great week and once again thank you to everyone who has come to watch and cheers the lads on through the preseason

Just a heads up it’s been brought to our attention the date is completely wrong on the post for this weekends game! 🤦‍♂️ the game is tomorrow morning against Chappell FC at Stamford Park 23/08/26.
