The first Krav Maga Global (KMG) update of the year kicked off with a bang 🥊

Our dedicated instructor team worked hard and took lots of knowledge away to improve our own personal development, and improve training for our students. 🙏

Lots of happy, sweaty faces at the end of class last night! 😁💪🏼

It also marked 17 y/o Pebble's first ever adult class as she begins her transitional journey from the senior warriors! Well done! 🤩

Its such an honor to witness the growth and progression of a students skill set - especially when these skills gift them with the confidence to want to take these skills to the next level!

Today two of our instructors attended another days training with Krav Maga Global. 💥

The main 3 topics we looked at today were:

Knife awareness/threats on the ground ✔️
Assault Riffle threats from various angles ✔️
Sparring drills focusing on faints ✔️

Lots of useful information for personal development and teaching! As instructors it’s incredibly important to keep exposing ourselves to high level training in order to keep sharp, and consistently deliver the best training to our students. It’s our duty to grow for our students. 🥋

🥊There was a lot of information to take in but you guys smashed it 😁

💪🏼 We learnt the technical application for a front choke release and how these principles can be applied to similar but different kinds of threats/attacks.

🙌🏻 We also covered effective striking, some common questions regarding self defence and the law and finally, tactical behaviour.

It was such a brilliant day on Friday for our first ever Krav Camp!

We gave the children a fun-packed day camp experience which included:

✅ Hunting/orienteering experience
✅ Krav Maga Self-defence training
✅ Team building games and challenges
✅ Den building
✅ T-shirt making
✅ Sparing drills
✅ S’more making

This was a great opportunity for our students to socialise and build strong bonds with one another. Everyone had a great time and made some very fun memories! 😁

We will definitely be doing this again in the future to keep your eyes peeled so you don't miss out! 👀👏🏼

Very fun and productive day training on Sunday down in Battlesbridge, Essex at the head of KMG UK!

Here's what we practiced:
✅ Free flowing prevention, distance management, responding to change in behaviour.
✅ Defending against combinations of strikes (standing), various response options
✅ Defending against combinations of strikes (ground), from various positions
✅ 180 degree knife attack
✅ Close range knife threat (different heights)
✅ Threat that deteriorates to an attack
✅ Sudden violence (surprised based) summary drill. With continuing attacker.
All fast paced work solving these problems as we went along.

Sneak peak at one of the topics we covered in our workshop this weekend! Working in a real environment learning to deal with limitations, obstacles and surroundings! 🥊 Here we’re dealing with a rear headlock, a standard technique we cover in class. However, for this workshop we took it to a chair. Giving students the ability to figure out how to aply the principles of the technique in a new environment with limitations such as a chair. ✅ This video is just after we’ve taught the technique and students have got some reps in. Now we’re tweaking an element with bridging to give students a higher success rate. 👌 Why are we adding limitations and changing the environment? To better prepare our students for reality. In reality you aren’t going to be attacked on a padded floor with boxing gloves on and a safe space to carry out a technique, so this workshop gave our students a chance to problem solve with these real life factors in play. 💥 This was a great workshop and everyone who attended absolutely smashed it, and have upgraded their Krav Maga skills 🙏 Well done all! 👏

It was such an amazing experience to have Master Eyal Yanilov (co-founder of Krav Maga Global) come and visit us at our Training Centre, right here in Norwich! 🙏

The two-hour seminar covered the double handed defense principle which can be applied to a number of techniques including defense against knife slashes, stick attacks, kicks and so much more. ✅

Krav Maga is a principle-based system which takes an effective principle and applies it to different situations in order to enhance learning speed, speed up reaction time and improve overall self-defence success. 👌

It was an privilege to provide this opportunity for our students to train with the head of our organisation! Thank you Eyal! We hope you had a fine time in Norwich! 😁

KMG (Krav Maga Global) holds regular instructor updates for all it instructors to ensure they are current with techniques and delivering the most efficient training methods. 🎓

Krav Maga Global (KMG) under the guidance of Master Eyal Yanilov are the lead organisation in developing Krav Maga as we know it today.

As an affiliate club we are always training with the source thus ensuring we continue to provide authentic Krav Maga/Self-defence training. 💥

Self-defence is a broad subject with so many unknowns so we must continuously invest in ourselves to improve.

Even after receiving our instructor diplomas - the training, self-investment and hard work goes on. 🙏

This weekend we’ve taken lots on board and are looking forward to delivering extra knowledge to our students.👌
