βš½πŸ† Aylesbury United Tournament Winners! πŸ†βš½

We were at the Aylesbury United Tournament on Sunday afternoon, knowing from the outset that it would be a tough competition with some very strong teams involved.

The girls rose to the challenge brilliantly, finishing top of Group A with 13 points, remaining undefeated throughout the group stage, scoring 7 goals and conceding 0. An incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work, determination, and teamwork shown by every player.

In the semi-final, we faced a strong Bromham side who finished second in Group B. It was a closely contested match with chances for both teams, but neither side could find the breakthrough. The game finished 0-0 and had to be decided by a penalty shootout. The girls held their nerve, won the shootout, and booked their place in the final.

The final saw us take on a very strong Little Gaddesdon team, who had also topped their group. This was undoubtedly our toughest game of the day, with both teams creating opportunities in a fiercely competitive match. Our defence and goalkeeper stood strong once again to keep another clean sheet, meaning the tournament would be decided from the penalty spot.

Showing incredible composure and courage, the girls won the penalty shootout and were crowned Aylesbury United Tournament Champions! πŸ†

Girls, you were all incredible today and we are so proud of every single one of you! πŸ’™πŸ©΅

A special shoutout to Ayla for stepping in goal during the penalty shootouts, and to all the girls who showed tremendous bravery by volunteering to take a penalty. Keziah, you made some absolutely incredible saves throughout the day and played a huge part in the team’s success.

Every single one of you gave everything, worked tirelessly for each other, and represented the team brilliantly. You should all be extremely proud of yourselves. You absolutely smashed it! πŸ’™πŸ©΅πŸ’™πŸ©΅

This is now the third tournament victory of the summer for these girls, which shows just how hard they are working during the off-season and how much they continue to develop as a team.

Our girls travelled to fairford leys for the Aylesbury United tournament on saturday, fresh of a decent first season together the girls spirits were high, the coaches decided to enter 2 teams into it.

The white team played 4 matches winning 2 loosing 1 and drawing another meaning they got through the group stages on goal difference which is a great achievement as there was some good team in that division.

The blue team played 4 matches and won 3 and drew another meaning they went through as the winners of the group.

As a coaches nightmare first in the league plays second in the other league meaning and all Stoke mandeville semi-final. The blue team came out on top.

Onto the final the blue team were raring to go to try better last year’s performance of a runners up medal. The final seem to bring out some nerves in the girls as the performance dropped allowing the opposition to keep pressing really high, however with some really resilient defending the blues finally got a break away and Phoebe rifled a shot straight into the top bins making the girls lead the final. With all hands on deck and some errors made, all the girls dug in so deep to see this one through and when the whistle went you could see the relief and happiness of the girls as that was by far the biggest battle they have faced all day and all performed amazingly well.

The blue team won the Aylesbury United tournament whilst conceded only 1 goal and scoring 13. Great achievement from the blues. Also a great achievement from the white team getting to the semi final and unfortunately there can only be one winner in these matches.

We go again at the Stoke mandeville tournament looking to carry this momentum through to that on and see what the girls can do there.

Aylesbury Utd Tournament 2026

The U9s took part in the Aylesbury Utd tournament this weekend and another great tournament it was.

The girls went through their group games winning 3 games and drawing one. Anabella did a fantastic job keeping a clean sheet.

Then onto a semi final where we played a strong AVD team. With new and old friends playing for the opposition, the girls went on the pitch with smiles on their faces. AVD were fantastic and made us work really hard but, we came away with a win and another clean sheet into another tournament final where we came up against Real Bedford. This team were amazing but the girls dug deep and played their socks off with some outstanding football on display. Unfortunately not our win today but what a tournament. The girls should be so proud of themselves once again. Well done U9s you were fantastic. πŸ₯³πŸ‘βš½πŸ’™

And finally, our youngest age group were also in action today at the Berkhamsted Raiders Tournament, with two Under 8 Girls teams representing the club brilliantly throughout the day.

The girls played some fantastic football, showing just how much progress they have made during their very first season. It was great to see the confidence, teamwork and enthusiasm on display, with both teams competing brilliantly and enjoying every minute of the experience.

While results are always nice, today was really about seeing the development of these young players, and the improvement from the start of the season has been incredible to watch.

The future of the club is certainly bright, and these girls are a huge part of that. Well done to all the players, coaches and supporters who braved the weather and made it such a memorable day.

We're incredibly proud of every one of you! πŸ’™πŸ¦Œβš½

Also representing the club at the Berkhamsted Raiders Tournament today were our Under 13 Girls, and what a day they had!

The girls came flying out of the blocks and produced some outstanding performances against strong opposition from across Hertfordshire. Going unbeaten through the group stages, they carried that momentum into the knockout rounds and secured their place in the final with a superb semi-final victory.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite to be in the final, as they came up against a very strong Stevenage side and finished as runners-up. However, the result should take nothing away from what was a fantastic day of football.

The girls played some incredible football throughout the tournament β€” strong, fast, physical and full of quality on the ball. They showed great determination, teamwork and resilience from start to finish.

Most importantly, this is the first time this season the team has reached a tournament final, which is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of all the hard work they have put in throughout the year.

The girls should be incredibly proud of themselves today. A brilliant effort and another great step forward

Our Under 9 Girls headed down the A41 today to take part in the highly competitive Berkhamsted Raiders Tournament, facing some fantastic teams from across the region.

The girls were outstanding from start to finish, going unbeaten throughout the group stages to finish top of their group before producing two brilliant performances in the semi-final and final to lift the trophy! πŸ†βš½

This is an incredibly talented group of young players, but more importantly, they're a fantastic group of girls who always play with smiles on their faces and support each other every step of the way.

Despite the weather doing its very best to make things difficult, the girls played some amazing football throughout the day and thoroughly deserved their success.

A huge well done to every single player and to the coaches for all their hard work. We are incredibly proud of you all!
