Congrats Joseph 👏

We are always on the hunt for volunteers.

This is another prime example.
A parent for one of our U7 players has kindly completed the grassroots assistant coaching course.

To do these courses in spare time is a big commitment. So thank you.

With younger years groups ensuring NSPCC guidelines is met is a priority with player welfare and safeguarding at the forefront of what we do 😀

U7 Update - Summertown (A)

Today our U7s visited Summertown in Oxfordshire in our first fixture of the 2026/27 season.

It was incredible as 8 of our 12 player squad took part 3x3 football.

We also had 5 different goal scorers today. Incredible spread 👏

Plenty of cleansheets.

Behaviour of our squad was great.
Some were looking more comfortable with contact in attack and defensively.

Today we saw plenty of tackles from all our players / blocked shots too.

If we do become more ruthless with our finishing and driving through midfield they will be a deadly group and frustrate many opposition this season.

What was a big plus today was some of the closer games they fought until the end to get the goals to win the mini games. Incredible mentality for an u7s group.

But so lovely to see all playing again and its good to see us go up against peers to show where we are at moment.

So well done to all.

Today's squad -
Austin
George
Harvey
Miles
Porter (c)
Ray
Ted
Torben

Player of the week - Matchday - Harvey 🏅
Goals
Tackles
Physical play
Folllowed coaching instruction
Behaviour 1st class

AND as a team we high fived opposition before and after every game 😍

Big credit to our hosts Summertown in organising today. We wish them well for the rest of 2026/27.
