CLIENT OF THE DAY PROGRESS PICS 💥💥💥

Today’s client of the day, is the wonderful Chloe.
Chloe got in touch during the summer of last year and although she was going to the gym and doing lots of classes, she was feeling a bit lost with it all. She felt she needed some motivation and guidance with nutrition and training and was fed up of not getting any results. She knew she didn’t feel as good as she could 💪 A little helping hand with direction, consistency and motivation was needed.

After years of doing classes only, Chloe can now see and FEEL the benefit of doing both classes and lifting heavier weights in the gym. As we know, the gym floor can be an intimidating place to start (apart from at Reflexions Health and Leisure - come try for yourself !) but over time Chloe has built her knowledge and confidence in the gym to become a regular go- er.

Chloe is now prioritising lifting heavier weights 3/ 4 times a week. She is a busy air hostess with shift patterns all over the place, so a huge plus of going to the gym with your own plan in place is that you can go when you want. Don't get me wrong, I love my classes and love teaching them, there is an amazing community feel in exercise classes, but you are governed by the time of day they are on. With this shift over to the gym and still some classes which she really enjoys, she is now able to commit more and be more CONSISTENT.

And that's where the magic happened. We started seeing a shift in her results when she started committing more and more to the weights room and lifting heavier weights and again, consistency.

This isn’t to say it’s been easy. It’s been hard work. Chloe is not in her comfort zone on the gym floor. It takes a lot of mental effort for her to train. But this girl is turning up week in week out and sticking to her programme. She is getting stronger and stronger, lifting heavier and her confidence is GROWING. The gym floor can be a scary place. But a reminder to you all. No one is fixated on what you are doing. They are just concerned with what they are doing. Everyone started somewhere. We were all beginners once and there is so much to learn( for all of us ! )

Now, these pictures are not all down to just tweaks in her fitness plan. Chloe has been working ALOT on her nutrition and her relationship with food. She has also been trying to make changes and eating MORE. Yes, you read it. More proper food. More wholefood meals. Less snacks and grabbing convenience stuff. Eating proper meals that she makes from scratch, protein and fibre rich that keep her fuller for longer and support her training. It’s not about eating less, it’s about eating more nutritionally dense foods and prioritising more protein and wholefoods ( single word ingredient foods not a list as long as your arm/ out of a pack ) .

The biggest change of all is she is more CONSISTENT. Not stop / start all the time. We have a few days off the gym, we go again. We don’t wait for Monday to start again. Same with food. We have a ‘ less nutritious ‘ meal or snack. The next time we eat we try to get back on plan. Don’t wait for the next day, and certainly don’t wait until Monday. Your body doesn’t know what day of the week it is. But it will soon know If you are consistently eating crap day in, day out.

Please give Chloe some love and encouragement. She is a pleasure to work with, we always have a laugh somehow but she is putting in the grind too 💪

Proud of you lovely, you can do this, you are doing this💪 keeeep going 😜
