Aston Clinton Bowls Club welcomes you to come along and watch the following matches in August: -

5th August (Wednesday) - ACBC v Long Crendon Usual Suspects in Round 7 of the Ray Keen League at 6:15pm

8th August (Saturday) - ACBC v Flackwell Heath Bowls Club at 2pm

15th August (Saturday) – ACBC v Bletchley Town Bowls Club at 2:30pm

16th August (Sunday) – Dave Rymer Trophy internal competition at 10am

19th August (Wednesday) - ACBC v Aylesbury Ducklings in Round 9 of the Ray Keen League at 6:15pm

25th Aug (Tuesday) t - ACBC v Thame Bowls Club at 2pm

26th August (Wednesday) ACBC v Cheddington Demons in Round 10 of the Ray Keen League at 6:15pm

30th August (Sunday) ACBC v Chalfont St Giles Bowls Club at 2pm

This Sunday the 26th July sees members competing in the annual Internal Competition "The Triples".
15 members in teams of 3 will bowl 4 games, of 10 ends each, against each other.
Play commences at 10.00 am and will finish about 5.00 pm. Everybody is invited to come down to the green in the park and watch the friendly competition.

Congratulations to the members who played against our local rivals, Wendover, today and came out the winners.
Well played people.

Well done to Jayne, Vic, Mark and Neil for a convincing win over Cheddington in the RKL.
The guys played well.

28th July (Tuesday) - ACBC v Tring Town Bowls Cheddington Bowls Club at 2:30pm

29th July - ACBC v Cheddington Bees in Round 6 of the Ray Keen League at 6:15pm

The initial holding of the Last Wood Standing competition, congratulations to Neil, Jim and Vic filling the top 3 positions.
Excellent cakes, drinks, and banter made it an afternoon to remember.
