Complete Coaching, a women's fitness coaching business based in Kilmarnock, is bringing women from across Ayrshire together this September for an event built around a simple idea: it's time women stopped making themselves smaller.
The event, called No More Small, was born from founder Chloe's own experience - years spent trying to shrink herself, whether that meant restrictive dieting as a teenager, hiding parts of her identity, or later, as a coach, comparing herself to others and holding back from opportunities because she didn't fit a certain mould.
It's a story many women will recognise. Whether it's in sport, in the workplace, in relationships, or simply in how comfortable they feel taking up space in a room, countless women learn early to shrink - their bodies, their voices, their ambitions - in order to feel acceptable.
No More Small brings women from Ayrshire's fitness and wider community together for an afternoon of honest conversation about exactly that. Alongside Chloe's own talk, the event features a second speaker focused on building genuine self-confidence - helping attendees see their own minds as an ally rather than a source of self-doubt.
The aim isn't to deliver a polished, feel-good message and send people on their way. It's to create a space where women can feel genuinely seen, hear stories that mirror their own, and leave with a different sense of what they're allowed to want for themselves. For a community that shows up for each other in gyms, group chats, and Saturday morning meet ups, this is simply the next room to do that in together.
