Designating a Water Watcher is one of the simplest things you can do to keep kids safe at the beach — and one of the most overlooked. 👀

Here's how it works:
🔵 One adult. One job. Watch the water.
🔵 No phones. No side conversations.
🔵 Rotate every 15–20 minutes so you stay alert.

Drowning is fast and silent. Active supervision isn't optional — it's everything.

We're proud to support schools across England with training ahead of a new allergy safety law coming into effect this September. RLSS UK is supporting its Trainer Assessors (TAs) currently working in communities in upskilling to deliver Anaphylaxis Management training for schools. This training will not only ensure schools are compliant with Benedict’s Law but also help school staff respond effectively in life-threatening emergencies.

After the number of deaths recently involving young people attempting to keep cool in reservoirs, Quarries and lakes, we want to do our bit by offering advice for young people and even parents in hope of preventing further tragic accidents.

Educate the kids. Together we just may save a life, and a family from going through the anguish so many others unfortunately have this half term.

Our thoughts are with them all.

Chill on the side - bring your towels out to sit on pool side if you’d like, swim or play the ball games you usually can’t due to people swimming.
