The Champions are back in action as Saim Hussain returns to the XI for the Banbury Lions 1s’ penultimate fixture, following last week’s title-winning performance. 🏆

Meanwhile, the Sunday 2s travel to High Wycombe CC for a huge promotion decider, with both sides needing a win.

A first season for our U13s 🦁🏏

Our newly formed U13s have come a long way in their first season.

For the majority of the boys, this was their first experience of hard-ball cricket, with only one or two having played before. To see how much they’ve developed over the course of the season has been brilliant.

Their confidence, understanding of the game and ability have all grown, but most importantly, they’ve developed a genuine passion for cricket. They’ve enjoyed playing together, built friendships and created a really good team spirit along the way.

A huge credit to Adnan Ahmed for the time, patience and effort he’s put into the group. The progress the boys have made is a reflection of the work he’s done with them.

This is just the start for this group, and we’re excited to see where they can go from here.

Wins all around and a phenomenal day for Badr 313 Cricket.

Banbury Lions travelled to IAS Friends and put in a dominant performance to secure the SESCL Division 4 title — our first ever league title in the SESCL! 🦁🏆

Just 20 miles away, Wroxton produced a brilliant fightback, recovering from 28-4 to defeat West Isley and bring home the first ever Cherwell League Telegraph Cup to the club! 🏆

And the Sunday 2s continued their push for promotion with a dominant win over Aylesbury Stars at home, moving them to within touching distance of promotion. 🔥
