It’s been a busy few weeks and even with the weather changing every few minutes there’s still plenty for some to be happy about! ( and not just that they bought decent clothing)

Whether it’s a uk track or out to Spain it’s always good to top up your skills. Although the temp last week at Snetterton made Easter at Almeria look tepid!

Fingers crossed the weather for Mallory Park 19 July is at the very least dry.

Last night my BMW S1000rr was stolen!! Reg: OU22 LXB

It was in a locked garage etc etc but if they see something they want they’ll take it!

If anyone sees any bike like this ( even with different plate) let me know.

The keys have been turned and the verdict is in…..

It’s been a glorious day and with Connor and Chris turning the keys on the new bikes there’s a few subtle differences between the old MT07 ( left in frame) and the new ones.

Firstly Conner noticed that the steering felt lighter and easy on the new one, probably due to the slightly higher bars and that the whole bike felt better balanced. That’s some feat given that the old version had excellent ballance!

The thing I noticed most was the noise 😈 that twin engine making itself heard through the exhaust popping and growling ( all legal of course as it’s standard equipment)

Hopefully the first of many dry days to come!

Now that the weather is starting to improve it may be time for the students to turn the keys on the new MT07’s

Let’s face it the roads have been a mud bath since new year 🥴

We’ll let you know what they think of the new bikes and how they compare to the old ones.

With the weather improving we had a great training day. Congratulations to both Dawid and Alex completing their CBT.

With the weather being a bit hit and miss we recently set out for a day at Snetterton. Had a great 4 sessions in the morning but then had to swap out for wets for rest of the day. However great to get out on track.

If you’ve never been on track it’s a really good way to build up confidence in cornering and ( very hard ) braking, with most track day operators providing free tuition for those in need.

We booked Mallory Park for 24 Aug ( through No Limits) so why not come join us 👍. Drop me a message if you book in and we’ll catch up over a coffee and bacon sandwich at the track.

End of an era……

Well the cold weather has definitely arrived this week but I hope you’re all staying safe.

This new year brings the end of an era……….. No, I’m not giving up work, I love my job and getting you guys on the road and up to speed 🤣

But I am giving up the off road bit. It may be that I have less time or that I’m just getting old 🤣 but I’m finally looking to sell my trusty Honda CRF450

It’s a ‘12 plate that’s been well maintained. Piston has just 5hrs on it and comes with upgraded Excel wheels and the original wheels too, both sets with great tyre condition.

Well winter has arrived and as the cold creeps in things are all cosy at our new location.

The inside is pretty much done and with the first couple of DAs courses ( Sam and Darren below being the first through the new doors) and CBTs now complete the feedback from the students is all positive, although some take more encouragement than others to get up off the chairs!!

Keep an eye out for updates as there’s still work to do on the outside (though have to admit that may have to wait till temperature picks up ⛄️)

Hello everyone!!
As the year nears an end there’s an air of excitement at bike-moore. No, not because the NEC bike show https://thenec.co.uk/whats-on/motorcycle-live/ Starts on Saturday.

It’s because after 12 years at the Alkerton Oaks Business Park it’s time to move.

From 1st December 2022 we will be located at:

Shenington Airfield
Shenington
OX15 6NW
( behind Bruce Hopkins)

That’s right, the same place as Shenington Kart Racing Club!

The move allows us to have a larger training area for cbt and DAs courses, improved storage and larger office/classroom facilities.
