Here’s a few 2023 snippets🤍

Even tho the year isn’t over I’m feeling very grateful for 2023🫶🏻

It’s been one of those years that for every up there was a down. I’ve learned to take this year as a learning experience instead.

And as we are going into the busy season I thought what better time than now to reflect back on all the incredible moments I’ve had with my family and this growing business thus far🥰

10 Things that I’m grateful for:

* Opening my home studio
* Maintained a full year of progressive training
* My little family that’s always such a support
* My littlest starting school
* Spending more time the family
* Started doing different Training methods such as yoga and Pilates
* Couldn’t have come this far without
* Started to live a more active lifestyle and not spending an 1h a day in the gym like I use to
* Startes my very own virtual fitness classes

There’s so much more I can list here but the caption will run out of space ☺️ Even if it’s a little unclear at this current moment what the next few weeks will look like, I’m very excited to see how it all turns out!

Before I get into the juicy side of things, I thought I need to explain what I mean with, “rediscovering yourself after kids”.

It’s what I call the “wonderful-messy” period. Time for yourself is basically non-existence and no matter how amazing it is to spend time with your little ones it can also be emotionally & physically challenging and lonely...

After a lot of time spending (and wasted) on the idea of “bouncing back” to my old self after I had my first, I realised I can’t force myself into my old clothes or do certain things that I use to do. I needed to ‘rediscover myself’ and figure out what & who I can and wanted to be and become.

This is when I decided I needed to include some healthy habits in my daily lifestyle that will make an impact later on.

Hope these will help you as well:

1. Start your day with a glass of water 💦
Recently I’ve learned from Glucose Goddess that 1 Tbs of vinegar and a lemon in a glass of water could be the game changer. I’ve been including it in my mornings before my breakfast and I genuinely feel a difference. It helps keep me hydrated but also keep my glucose spike down.

2. Skipping breakfast is a BIG NO in my family. I use to eat something sweet for my first meal because who doesn’t like to start their day on a high. But actually this creates my glucose to spike and have me craving for sweet things and carbs the whole day + my energy levels end up being tapped out.

3. Don’t simply sit around and do nothing. This is so important to do. Make yourself move, whether that be to play with the kids or work in the garden.

4. Mix up your training. To achieve an overall fitness, lose fat, build & maintain muscle combine cardio with strength training.

5. Leave the scales to weigh food! There’s no need to add more stress to your plate by worrying about what the numbers tells you on the scales.

And last but not least…

6. Start your dinners with a veggie or salad starter. This helps fill you up but also help you get enough of the nutrients in before diving into the carbs and protein.

✨Welcome to my page Ladies!✨

So I'm a little late to the game but I have finally launched myself online (a.k.a the good old Facebook friend)😀 and I'm so proud to say that I'm loving the space on here so far.

I felt that a simple post just won't do for me this time around and to kick my imposter syndrome to the curve once and for all (or at least in this instance), I've decided to create a little video for you all to introduce myself but also to tell you a little bit about my why and the reasons for starting Strength By PJ.

Did I also mentioned that I'm excited to announce my new space?! It's doors will officially be open on the 13th of October🥳 so keep your eyes peeled for some "after" footage of what my studio will look like + the journey of us fixing it all up🤩
