As we approach Easter, it’s a great moment to reflect on the past few months. It’s been a fantastic start to the year, with brilliant swims at recent meets and some outstanding results at Counties.
Our Masters swimmers continue to shine too, travelling to meets across the country and showing incredible team spirit and friendship along the way.
Training sessions have been full of energy, with swimmers pushing themselves, progressing into new squads, and we have welcomed new members into the club. Even outside the pool, our competitive squad show real dedication by following land‑based training programmes to build strength and support their performance.
We’ll be swimming right through Easter, and as we head into spring and summer there’s lots to look forward to — the outdoor pool opening in June, our first club disco, and County Relays in July!

COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 – WHAT A START TO THE YEAR!
Five weekends of racing at the Oxfordshire & North Bucks County Championships brought huge success for our swimmers, with loads of PBs, finalist places and a brilliant collection of medals across all strokes and distances.
We celebrated standout long‑distance results, sprint medals, a fantastic gold in the 200m butterfly for the 10/11 age group, and strong performances right through to the Open Age Group relays. Several swimmers also made their Counties debut — and they rose to the challenge brilliantly.
A massive thank you our amazing coaches and to every volunteer, official and team manager who supported the squad throughout the championships. Your time and commitment make all of this possible.
What an incredible way to kick off 2026.

🏊♂️ Club Update 🏊♀️ - It’s been a busy few weeks in the pool with many of our swimmers in action. We’ve had golds, silvers, bronzes and, most importantly, plenty of PBs across the month. We’re proud to say we’ve submitted 122 considered entries for 18 of our swimmers into this year’s Oxford and North Buckinghamshire County Championships. We’ll find out next month how many of our entries have been accepted, but the club is incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication of all our swimmers—and the wider team of coaches, committee members, and parents supporting their journeys!
Our parent feedback sessions are going well, and it’s been wonderful rolling these out across all our squads. They’re a great opportunity to hear from coaches about swimmer progress, for swimmers (and parents) to ask questions, and for goals to be discussed with clear plans in place to achieve them.
And feedback or questions, please remember you can always contact us at [email protected]
