🏑💙 U16s TOURNAMENT – PWLLHELI 💙🏑
What a morning of hockey for our U16 girls! 🌟
The girls played some absolutely beautiful, slick hockey today, gelling brilliantly as a team. Their one-twos worked a dream, moving the ball quickly up the pitch and producing some fantastic passages of play! 👏
🏑 Match 1 – 1-1 v Dysynni
A solid start to the tournament! The girls settled into their game, found their rhythm and held their own, showing some lovely teamwork and determination.
🌧️ Match 2 – 1-5 v Pwllheli
Then came the rain! Facing a strong Pwllheli side, the girls battled hard from start to finish. The scoreline certainly didn’t reflect the effort, quality of play and determination shown on the pitch. Heads never dropped, and the girls kept fighting! 💪
🌧️🏑 Match 3 – 2-1 WIN! 🎉
By the final match, the rain was absolutely pouring, but nothing was stopping these girls! Their hockey just got better and better as the morning went on. The slick passing, teamwork and determination really came together, and they were rewarded with a fantastic 2-1 victory to finish the tournament on a high! 🙌
