Come and be the most important player on the pitch. No really! The forwards think it's all about the goals, the midfielders reckon nothing works without them, and the defenders? Well, we need someone to keep them in line... 😜

*Umpires* 📢
The goalkeepers think they're the most important ones on the pitch, but really, we wouldn't actually be anywhere at all without the ones with a whistle. Oh, the power! (Not sure about any glory, but we can work on that!)

Last night we were absolutely delighted to present the proceeds of June's Stick It To Cancer Sixes tournament to Lynn from North Down Friends of Marie Curie and Judith from Fire Lily which provides pamper hampers for women on cancer journeys.

Each charity received £868 so a huge thank you to everyone who played, supported and donated - your support means the world, and we remember fondly 1XI player Sarah, in whose memory our tournament is run ❤️💚

We also took a little stroll along the front to have our picture taken with our beautiful trough. An evening that did our hearts good!

We're kicking off the 26/27 season with a bit of pre-season fitness at The Commons in Donaghadee. With PT Stephen Montgomery putting us through our paces, it's going to be great preparation for getting back on the pitch 💪🏻

*CLUB COACH ROLE NOW OPEN*
We are seeking a new Club Head Coach for the 26/27 season to support the development of our club and help guide both our 1XI and 2XI teams, with our 1XI promoted to Senior 2 last year and our 2s playing in Junior 10.

We are a welcoming and community focused club with a strong group of committed players and we are looking for someone who is passionate about hockey and keen to help players develop as we look to grow and improve on and off the pitch.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys grassroots sport and would like to play a key role in developing DLHC, a friendly yet ambitious local club.

Remuneration negiotable.
