*CLUB COACH ROLE NOW OPEN*
We are seeking a new Club Head Coach for the 26/27 season to support the development of our club and help guide both our 1XI and 2XI teams, with our 1XI promoted to Senior 2 last year and our 2s playing in Junior 10.
We are a welcoming and community focused club with a strong group of committed players and we are looking for someone who is passionate about hockey and keen to help players develop as we look to grow and improve on and off the pitch.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys grassroots sport and would like to play a key role in developing DLHC, a friendly yet ambitious local club.

What a day! Thank you so much to everyone who was at our Sixes tournament today. Players, spectators, umpires, helpers... all combined to come together for a super day's hockey, a lot of craic and most importantly raising money for our chosen charities Marie Curie and Fire Lily.
A couple of special shout outs to the following:
๐ฅ Ards Fireplaces for sponsoring the fab barbeque, tuck shop and very welcome cold drinks
๐ช Murdock Builders Merchants for supplying the fence posts which make excellent bounce boards!
Huge thanks also too to our Coach Willie McAdam for sorting the match schedule and keeping everything running smoothly. Literally living his best life combining spreadsheets, organising and hockey in one afternoon ๐ฅณ We know he's retiring but... a wee run out this time next year, Willie? (Asking for a friend ๐)

Every expense might have been spared for the winners' trophies for Sunday's Sixes but this is a highly coveted piece of silverware (plastic) and make no mistake!

Great night at our End of Season Do last night. We also bade farewell to Coach Willie McAdam who steps back to enjoy a very well-earned retirement after 15-odd years involvement with DLHC. Huge thanks from everyone at the club goes to Willie, and well done to all our prize winners ๐
