3 days from Sardinia to land in Mallorca for an overnight stop. Some more cracking sailing followed by beach swims and tapas! We had dramatic skies during night hours, sailing past huge electric storms, some lasting well over 8 hours and keeping us entertained.
After very dark skies the moon has now started to make an appearance and grow, our nights have so far been a ceiling of glitter and we've been learning new constellations each night.
Now onwards towards Gibraltar
After 3 days at sea and some cracking sailing we've had an overnight stop at Pollença, Mallorca for boat bits, tapas, beach swims and showers.
On our way we've been sailing past some incredible electric storms with lightning flashing across the sky, sometimes for over 8 hours, making night watches a panorama of drama.
With the moon beginning to make an appearance our nights so far have been a ceiling of twinkling glitter and we've been learning new constellations each night. The Milky Way has been a bold dusting across the blackness and a good reference point.
Onwards now, past the towering limestone cliffs of the Northern coast of Mallorca and the sweeping grassy valleys in between.
Next stop Gibraltar
Half a day stop in Sardinia for boat jobs, fuel, water, pontoon laundry, pontoon showers, shore food and of course a lovely swim in crystal clear waters full of little fishies
A 12 hour stop over in Messina, Sicily to top up fuel and water and off we go again. We didn't quite get a chance for a swim but we did enjoy a well needed shower. Off we go again towards Majorca - possibly via Sardinia if needed 🙂
We are out in Corfu helping to deliver a boat back to the UK. We've had a couple of days prepping the boat and are now just heading around the Southern tip of Corfu on our way to Scicily. Blue skies and warm winds and seas 😊
