U17 player Dylan Lynn has enjoyed an outstanding debut season with the club, stepping up to make a number of senior appearances and showing real maturity well beyond his years.
Away from matchdays, Dylan continues to give back to the club by volunteering his time as a coach with our 2021s team β something he does alongside his own youth training and matches, and whenever heβs called upon to play senior football. His commitment, attitude, and willingness to help others has not gone unnoticed.
Next month, Dylan will be taking on a challenge of a very different kind. On 28th June, he will abseil down the Europa Hotel in support of the Mae Murray Foundation, a charity that provides vital support to families during incredibly difficult times.
This is a cause that means a great deal to Dylan personally, and his motivation for taking on this challenge is explained in more detail in the link attached β we would strongly encourage everyone to take the time to read his story.
Any donation, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated, and sharing this post would also help raise awareness for a fantastic cause.
Best of luck, Dylan β a brilliant effort on and off the pitch, and one the whole club is incredibly proud of πβ€οΈπ€

Bryansburn Rangers vs Castle Juniors
A slow start saw Bryansburn go 2β0 down inside the opening minute β still waking up! π
But the response was superb. The team quickly settled, began competing all over the pitch, and fought back to 2β2 by half-time, with goals from Isaac and Theo π
With four changes at the break, Bryansburn came out a completely different side in the second half. The tempo lifted, the football flowed, and Castle simply couldnβt cope.
π₯ Isaac was unstoppable, adding another four goals to complete an incredible five-goal haul β½οΈβ½οΈβ½οΈβ½οΈβ½οΈ
Liam came close to getting on the scoresheet but was denied by a fantastic save, while Zach was unlucky to see an effort crash off the crossbar. On another day, this could easily have been a double-figure scoreline.
There were strong performances right across the pitch, with Jay and Frankie outstanding in defence, and the midfield controlling the game throughout πͺ
π Man of the Match: Isaac β a phenomenal performance with five goals to his name.

β½οΈ 2019s Tournament Report β½οΈ
A massive well done to our 2019s this morning, who took part in the St James Swifts Tournament and put in a fantastic showing throughout π
The team started with a narrow defeat to Glentoran in a tight opening game, but responded brilliantly β winning their remaining group matches in style πͺ

Those results secured a place in the final, setting up a rematch with Glentoran.
The final was another close, hard-fought game that could have gone either way, but it was Glentoran who edged it with a 1β0 win.

Bryansburn v Derriaghy Colts
The final league game of the season for our 2014s started with opposition pressuring in numbers, resulting in a 3rd minute Derriaghy goal, with a second chance immediately after.
The boys soon regained their composure and came close in the 7th min with superb run on right from Issac, providing a great cross to Matthew who was denied by the bar.
Derriaghy continued to press but couldnt break through a resolute Brayansburn defence, with Oliver and Charlie breaking up many attacks.
The resilience paid off in the 15th minute with Eli latching on to long punt from keeper, making no mistake with the finish to make it 1-1
Only two mins later, a sublime acute lob from Eli nearly makes it two, Isaac bundles ball home but the referee blows for a foul
With three mins to go Derriaghy regain the lead with a brilliant spinning lob into the top corner
HT Bryansburn 1 Derriaghy Colts 2
Bryansburn came out for the second half much stronger, upping their intensity and improving their passing game.
After forcing a number of early corners, the second half sees our boys pressing well and enjoying the majority of the play, but unable to convert the possession to many clear cut chances
As the game entered the last minute, a great Bryansburn ball was played into a crowded box, and Issac curled an unstoppable last minute equaliser into the top right corner to grab a well deserved point.
A fantastic end to a great second half performance and to end the season. Plenty of positives to look back on, and a lot of optimism for the teams continued development...well played lads!

β«π΄ Bryansburn 2015 vs Tullycarnet π΄β«
A brilliant game from the boys, led by captain Theo.
We started brightly and were on the front foot from the first whistle. Noah (βDuckβ) had three great chances early on, but the Tullycarnet goalkeeper pulled off two excellent saves, while another effort just sailed over the bar.
Charlie was lively down the wing, taking on defenders and delivering some dangerous crosses into the box. Caleb was outstanding in midfield, showing great composure on the ball and putting in some excellent tackles throughout.
Tullycarnet took a 1-0 lead just before half-time, but the boys stayed strong and kept themselves firmly in the game.
After a few changes at the break, we came out flying in the second half. Liam first missed a golden chance (maybe those fluffy boots were to blame! π), but he soon made amends by slotting home the equaliser to make it 1-1βdespite some hopeful offside appeals from the opposition bench.
Tullycarnet responded well, scoring from a corner before adding a third to make it 3-1. But our boys never gave up.
Issac pulled one back with a superb finish after a fantastic ball over the top from Jay. Then Theo delivered a great cross from the right, which Issac cleverly headed on for Liam to power home his second with a brilliant header, levelling the game at 3-3.
With just two minutes remaining, the boys kept pushing forward, and Issac struck again on the break to complete an incredible comeback and secure a 4-3 victory.
A fantastic performance from everyone todayβfull of determination, character, and teamwork.
A special mention goes to Curtis, who was rock solid at the back all game and didnβt put a foot wrong. A thoroughly deserved Man of the Match.
