Ways to maximise your outdoor time this month
π Take your morning tea/coffee outside for 5-10 minutes first thing in the morning. This will regulate your circadian rhythm, boost your alertness, enhance your mood, and (believe it or not) improve your sleep quality for the night ahead.
π Meet a friend for a walk instead of a drink. The social connection will improve your mood and being outside in the daylight boosts your vitamin D, your motivation and boosts your immune system.
π Take a walk after your main meal. As soon as you put your knife and fork down, head out for a 10 to 15 minute walk. This will help reduce a blood sugar spike after your meal, and will also aid digestion. You can tidy up when you get back home!
π Relax or walk outside at sunset. Spending time outside while the sun sets is fantastic for lowering stress. It helps regulate your sleep cycle and improves mental wellbeing.

Did you know you need a strong bum π
Having strong glutes aids better posture, injury prevention, daily movement like tackling stairs or hills and can reduce chronic pain π₯
There's also research showing a big link between strong glutes/legs and better cognition π§
Looped resistance bands (or 'b***y bands') are effective tools for increasing lower-body muscle activation, particularly in the glutes, hips, and thighs β
Don't miss out on the b***y band action - I have the perfect online class on my website that you can download and repeat as often as you want from home!
