Our gorgeous mummy-to-be 's last classes with us for a while.
She has such a beautiful way of teaching, and our Beyond Movers have really grown to love her!
We would have her back soon, and she said she will. But deep in my heart, I know she will be sooo in love with her baby. Pilates will wait šš
Have you taught through your pregnancy?
Did you come back to teach or work soon after?
It would be lovely to hear your stories

Today is World Parkinsonās Day. š·
These photos are from our Peto Pilates PD group here at Beyond Move. Every single person in them has made a choice to keep moving, to be with others, and to not let Parkinsonās have the final word.
There is something that happens when you move alongside others. It lifts you.
Movement is medicine. Not a metaphor ā it genuinely is.

Six years ago, Tanya walked into Beyond Move ā just before the world turned upside down with COVID. š¤
She stayed through lockdowns, online sessions, every shift and change she was with us.
She came to me after a knee replacement, and the other one while she was with us. Doctors said she shouldnāt kneel. But through Pilates, physio and osteopathy with careful progression, and a lot of trust ā she did. Better than expected. Thatās what this work is about. Not ignoring medical advice, but gently expanding what people believe is possible for their body.
She is a superwoman. She did the work quietly and with consistency. Never heard her moaning, but I am sure she had times when she thought; us teachers are with those ideas are ridiculous š
She connected me with one of the best osteopaths I know, who became my friend and part of Beyond Move .
Yesterday, a new chapter started for her. We will miss you, Tanya. And thank you also for what you taught me š§”
