The boys hosted Bramley Sunnyside today, with a narrow 4-3 defeat in a fantastic game of football. Full credit to both sides after a late night – it was a great advert for grassroots football!

There were plenty of positives to take, competing toe-to-toe with one of the top teams. The effort, attitude and quality from the boys were brilliant from start to finish. 💙⚽

Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone at Birdwell for welcoming us and making such a fuss of all the lads. It was a fantastic night, with so much effort put into making it special for the boys. We really appreciate everything you did. That's what grassroots football is all about – community. ❤️🖤

Another season done, and we're so proud of every single player. The commitment, effort and improvements they've all shown have been outstanding. Every one of them should be proud of themselves, and we genuinely believe this group will keep developing and go from strength to strength.
