Junior Tykes u10’s (26/27) are looking to add a couple of players to our well developing football family.

Mid/ high ability, been playing in the Sheffield B league. Just recently promoted to the A league.

Train Thursday evenings 6-7pm during the summer.

Huge credit to all of our U9 players who have been superb throughout the 25/26 season.

Positive attitude, development and commitment from everyone has been exceptional from start to finish. 🙌

We are extremely proud of eveyone involved.

A big thank you to Coach Lee for his dedication, time, and commitment throughout the season – it doesn’t go unnoticed.

And thank you to all the parents for your continued support week in, week out. It makes a huge difference to the team. 👏

LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 25/26 🏆

JTFC 3-2 Mosborough

What a way to finish the 25/26 season.

The Tykes needed 3pts to claim the Division Title. And did we have to work hard for it.

The game was close, with alot of 50/50 tackles, heating up the intensity.

It was Tykes who had the better of the chances, however against run of play Mosborough scored first.

0-1 at Half time, the Tykes had work to do and put in a great second half performance.

Great team work, togetherness and combination play from the boys started to show with 3 great goals from Harry, and 2 goals from Mason put the Tykes deservingly 3-1 up and favourites to clinch the title.

Mosborough scored a great free kick goal at the final whistle scored bizarrely by their Goalkeeper.

Tykes came out Worthy winners and claimed the Division title 🏆⚫️🔴

Huge well done to every one of our boys, for such a fantastic season against some top Barnsley and Sheffield Teams.

What an incredible tournament and experience the boys have had this evening at LUFC Thorp Arch training facilities!

Reaching the final is a huge achievement against some fantastic teams.

Coach Lee was in his element, made sure he was there nice and early so the boys didn't see him asking for the players autographs 🫣🤭

What a superb performance today against a top team in Wickersley.

The beauty of football is you always get another chance of glory!
Yesterday wasn’t quite our day at the tournament but today is!💪🏼🙌⚽️
Win lose or draw, we do it as one unit, one team!

We defended really well today which gave us the platform to build on!
Much deserved Clean sheet from Leo H also helps. By not conceding a goal, you put yourself in contention to pickup points!

Every singe player pulled their socks up, dusted off any aches and pains from yesterday and turned up today!

The Tykes pressed high up the field and worked the space alot better in the final 3rd.

The fight this team are starting to show for each other, every game is class!

Super proud of every single one of the boys after todays performance! 💙💪🏼🙌⚽️

Huge credit to Wickersley who put in a great shift in what was such a close game. The result could have gone either way today. 👏🏼

With thats said, One player stood out and has put in some top performances lately!

Skippers performance today and was all over the pitch battling for his team.

Showed great character on the ball carrying the ball high up the pitch!

It came down to who wanted it the most. Rileys drive and determination sets a leading example to the rest of his team mates!

⚽️ Eckington Blues vs JTFC U9s Black ⚽️

A really tough fixture for the Tykes today, going into the game with the bare minimum of players, no substitutes, and a few injuries to contend with. Both sides also had to battle through some classic English weather 🌧💨

The boys started a little slow and went 1–0 down early on, but showed great determination to fight their way back and level the score. It was a closely contested match throughout and could have gone either way.

JTFC vs Brierley Cubs

The team performances just keep on coming it seems!!💪🏼

Up against a strong familiar side in Brierley today, it was another good test for our boys.

The game started close, with both teams creating opportunities in front of goal.

It was the Tykes who took the lead and what a strike it was. Harrison Faz dribbled in from the by line, megged his opponent and struck the ball from 20 yards out to hit the top corner.

Tykes confidence then grew, creating more and more chances, and attacking more of the space in the final third.

Second half, the goals kept coming.. Harry stepped up, finding the pockets of spaces up front to score, not one, or two but a Hattrick of strikes all hitting the back of the net. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Mason put the icing on the cake with another Mason type goal, technically placing the ball out of the keepers reach.

In defence, the Tykes really looked like they werent going to be beaten, winning the ball back and picking out passes from the back to progress higher up the pitch.

Leo H in goal also pulled off some good saves, however, Brierley pulled one back when a shot deflected and wrong footed the keeper.

It was the Tykes who come away with the victory and thats 4 wins from their last 4 games!

Credit to each and every player today who put in a top performance today.

The coach did emphasise that all of the boys were players of the match but the lads were insisting on picking one player from the team.

Leo for his great saves, other than a deflective shot, would have got a clean sheet.

Defence Austin and Leo, solid in defence. Confidence playing out from the back is superb lately.

Midfield, Riley, Mason, Harrison , George, all exceptional passing and attacking space and creating Opportunities.

Harry for his hattrick and movement, Wyatt for his hard work and pressure in the final third.

Very tough to choose and we do prefer to share out the silverware honour.

🥇 Player of the match George Hudson - Its great to see Georges Confidence levels grow game by game.

Hes gone from a player who lacked a little on confidence when he first joined us.
To dribbling positively, finding out the passes and working hard for his team mates.

He really is turning his game around and becoming a very good player for us.
