Tough but great partner session.
session is as followed:
Split partners in to A and B.
In each round there will be an exercise with a target for example Row 1000m and there will be a second exercise with a set amount of reps for example 25 wall balls and a time limit.
Partner A will row as much as they can and as soon as partner B finishes 25 reps of wall balls they switch and then you keep doing this until you either hit 1000m or the time runs out.
Round 1
A - Row 1000m (target)
B - 25 wall balls.
5 minutes
Round 2
A - Tornado bike 2.5km (target)
B - Walking Lunges- 30m
5 minutes
Round 3
A - Ski 100m (target)
B - Burpee broad jumps - 20m
5 minutes
Round 4
A - sledge push and pull 250m (target)
B - push ups 25
5 minutes

Imagine that the thing you want is at the other side of a tunnel, and when you enter it, you can't see the the other side, there is no light, you have no idea how long it is or what you have to do and the more you walk through the harder the tasks get, and it becomes painful, it makes you tired, upset, hard to handle and the hardest thing about it. Is you have the choice to give up instantly and go back to comfort but miss out on what you want.
But if you push through and keep putting one foot in front of the other, and take whatever comes your way and just get on with it. You get to push through to the otherside and receive the reward of what you want.
The best things in life are the hardest to achieve, but they are not impossible.
Anyone can get to the otherside, it is completely up to you if you give up or not.

We have a new trainer joining the team.
Hi, I'm Dean
With over 10 years of experience as a Personal Trainer and a degree in Sports Science, I've had the privilege of helping a wide range of people achieve their fitness goals—from children and older adults to those managing health conditions, losing weight, building confidence, or striving for peak athletic performance.
While my passion lies in strength training and powerlifting, specialising in the squat, bench press, and deadlift, I believe fitness should be accessible, enjoyable, and tailored to the individual. My role isn't just to tell people what to do; it's to give them the knowledge, skills, and confidence to achieve their goals while making sure they enjoy the process along the way.
Alongside coaching, I've worked as a chef for many years and previously ran a meal prep company for athletes, giving me a strong understanding of nutrition and performance. I'm also a qualified sports masseuse, which has provided valuable insight into injury prevention, recovery, and keeping people training safely and effectively.
I genuinely love what I do, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing clients progress, gain confidence, and achieve things they never thought possible. Whether you're stepping into a gym for the first time, looking to improve your health, lose weight, get stronger, or take your training to the next level, I'm always approachable, happy to help, and excited to be part of your journey. We run them every Wednesday and Thursday's at 9:15 - 10am.
Free if you are a member and only £5 for non members.
If you want to lose weight then your mindset is the thing that will allow you to succeed or not.
If you have a strong one you will survive. If you have a weak one, you will suffer.
But the great new is, you can strengthen your mind.
And you should treat your mind like a muscle and train it like any other muscle.
If someone said to you, I'll give you an opportunity to make £1,000 tomorrow and all you have to do is work for 8 hours. And if you want, you can do it every day and for the rest of your life.
You'd most likely jump at it because it will help improve your wealth.
Now, the interesting thing is, I can offer the same equivalent but to your health and all you have to do is exercise for a very small fraction of your day between 30 - 90 minutes and eat healthy and if you do that, it will be like adding £1,000 to your health.
And the great thing is, you can do it everyday.
But a lot of people shy away from it.
Great few sessions over the last couple of days.
They are tough session, but it's one of the best ways to change.
Anyone can do it. regardless of how unfit you feel.
