Amazing evening at the Barnstaple amateur boxing club Pannier Market Show last night, I had the privilege to corner David Passmore and Akram Mokni for the first time in two fast-paced bouts. Both are incredible athletes that train week in and week out at the gym, a massive well done to all of the boxers putting their hard work to practise last night. It’s an honour to be part of this club 🙌
A massive thank you to the committee members, volunteers, sponsors, fans and of course boxers that make these shows possible! 🥊

Our Tiny Titans recognise lots of different body weight exercises from their training, Chance wanted to show me his press ups this evening👊
Each class the Titans are doing at least 20-30 press ups, burpees, sit ups, squat thrusts, step ups, the list goes on! They’re all super fit to be completing the classes and deserve a massive well done 👏
Challenge your Titan to see how many press ups, sit ups, or burpees they can do! 🏋️♂️

We had Aura-Beau come to the gym tonight with her two brothers, anybody that knows Aura is aware this is a big thing for her! 🙌
Explored a few bags, played with the balls and walked out of the gym with the gloves on still 🤣🥊

SESSION CANCELLED TOMORROW 🙁🥊
Apologies parents, I’m going to need to cancel tomorrow’s Tiny and Junior Titans classes due to family illness! 🤕
We will be back to usual next week, please send my apologies to your Titans! 🥊
In the mean time, your child could prepare for our next class by practising:
🥊Standing in their stance - front foot forward standing at a sideway angle, hands on their chin (microphone and telephone)
🥊Shadow Boxing - find a suitable space, practise throwing straight punches and hooks, moving their head and body to imagine evading punches. Leave no floor space untouched!
🥊Skipping and Footwork drills - practise moving in their stance, pivoting and feeling relaxed. Practise hopping with one foot and both together, mix it up!
