Barry RFC U7

… and we are officially underway! 🏉

Barry RFC’s smallest age grade group, the new U7s have started their pre-season training.

Some are little, some are taller, some are shy and some are loud, some of them have come from our creche and some of them have no rugby experience at all. One thing we already know about them, that they are the most enthusiastic and lovely little players we could have!

We have already mastered some rugby basics, passing, receiving, creating a defensive line, and so on. These children have not known each other and now they are able to move together, as a team. And of course some little games and races so learning doesn’t feel like learning at all! So much in such a little time, brilliant little people they are and we are so proud of them!

And one thing really struck us, when we asked them at the end of the training session what did they enjoy the most - some of them said to work together as a team. Our hearts - of course - instantly melted, because that is what makes rugby so special. Our mighty little U7s already feel it and we can’t be more excited for their future! 💚

Thank you for our lovely parents, to our also very enthusiastic coaches - we have a feeling that this season will be one of those special ones.

We will be looking forward to keep on training in August, until the season is kicking off with our first ever home game in September! 🥳
