⚽️👏 Congratulations, Stace! 👏⚽️

Finishing the season as the 3rd highest goal scorer in the Lincolnshire Women & Girls’ County Football League with an impressive 25 goals is a fantastic achievement and one you should be incredibly proud of!

Stacey has been a constant threat all season. If she’s not finding the back of the net herself, she’s creating chances and feeding the ball through to Lindsay. The partnership between the two has been a huge part of our success this season, causing problems for defences week after week.

Twenty-five goals, countless contributions, and a work rate that never stops….a brilliant season from a brilliant player.

Congratulations, Stace! A well-deserved place amongst the league’s top scorers. ⚽️🔥🏆💙💛

To our player Lindsay Crofton 👏⚽️

What a season you’ve had! Finishing as the top goal scorer in the Lincolnshire Women & Girls’ County Football League with an unbelievable 45 goals in 18 games is something truly special.

That also means you’ve averaged 2.5 goals per game 🔥 an absolutely ridiculous scoring rate and proof of just how consistent and clinical you’ve been all season.

Your hard work, commitment, and eye for goal have been outstanding from start to finish. Every game you’ve shown what you’re capable of and delivered for the team time after time.

We’re incredibly proud of you. Top scorer, fully deserved. 45 goals… 2.5 a game… you’ve been unstoppable 🏆⚽️👏

Final game of the season finished in a 3-1 defeat at home to Gainsborough Trinity.

A difficult first half saw us go behind, but the team showed real character after the break and didn’t concede a single goal in the second half.

Our goal came from Linz after a beautifully threaded through ball from Stacey H, splitting the defence perfectly and setting up a well-taken finish.

Special mention goes to Fayiza, who was absolutely outstanding throughout the game and had Gainsborough’s number 5 firmly in her pocket all afternoon. A deserved Player of the Match performance.

We also saw the season out in style with the return of manager Bob to the dugout for our final game of the campaign.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us this season…players, coaches, supporters and volunteers.

Before we finish tonight, there is one final award to present — a very special recognition award.

This isn’t something we usually do, but there was absolutely no way we could let this evening pass without recognising someone who has given so much to Barton United Ladies over the last 10 years and keeps giving.

This person has been here right from the very beginning — all the way back 10 years ago. And if I’m being honest… and I think we’d all agree, back then she could be a bit of a pain in the arse, but things could not be more different now because honestly, I would be completely lost without her support in helping run this team and everything that comes with it.

The amount she does for the club often goes unnoticed, but it shouldn’t. She runs all of our social media platforms and puts so much time, effort and creativity into everything she does. Whether it’s dragging us into the latest crazy TikTok trends, writing post-match reports or buying ridiculously large speakers for the changing rooms, she has completely transformed our teams presence and and taken it to another level.

Because of her hard work, the club has grown massively in visibility and support — helping attract players, sponsors and backing from other teams and the wider community.

On the pitch, she’s calm, confident and composed, with a brilliant football brain. Nobody plays a through ball quite like she does — the absolute queen of assists. Off the pitch, she is selfless, supportive and an amazing friend to so many people in this team. And although she sometimes gives off a tough exterior… we all know she’s a big softie really.

She also played a huge role in helping raise over ÂŁ4,000 during our charity game, which is an incredible achievement and something everyone at this club should be proud of.

I really want her to know that everything she has done — and continues to do — for Barton United Ladies is appreciated more than words can say. This team would not be what it is without her.

So please give a huge round of applause for this year’s Special Recognition Award winner… Alissia Graham! 👏💙🖤
