The Jolly friar is an over 35 vets team playing in the southend vets league.

Its our first year in the prem and our sites are firmly set on winning some silverwear in our first season with new managers Steve Jesson and Bobby Barnes in charge.

As we go into cup week where we face William de Ferrers we are top of the league.

We have 3 points to be added as wakering couldn’t field a side. And we believe Elgar are to be added 6 points meaning we stay joint top with us edging it with a better goal difference of 7.

With Vincitory managing to avoid playing games during a time when they are struggling for players with injuries and unfortunately we played during this time and dropped points it’s leaves us with a lot to do but ultimately it’s in our hands with 4 wins from our last 4 the only option.
