2024/25 SEASON STARTS TOMORROW!
A reminder of last years' Closed written at the time by Jan MacDonald:

Basingstoke & District Table Tennis Association's 79th Closed Championship finals night took place on 25th April at Old Basing Village Hall. The night saw competitive games of table tennis from players representing many of the clubs in the Basingstoke League. Ages of entrants ranged from the under 15 cadet entrants, right up to the Super Veteran category, which starts at age 55 years plus, but often sees players considerably beyond this age competing.

There were trophies presented to the winners by the President of the Association Peter Martin and the winner and runner up medals presented by Mike Wood the Chairman.

Super Veteran singles (age 55 plus) winner Martin Gilbey, runner up Barry Dobson, who regrettably had to concede on the night

Table tennis is a great sport to play and anyone interested in finding out more about table tennis clubs and leagues in Basingstoke can visit the website Basingstoke Table Tennis Association (bdtta.org)

During term time coaching from qualified coaches is available on a pay and play basis for juniors on Friday evenings at Aldworth school, see website for details. Adults may also attend this session.
