BEASTLY EVENT 2026 - Part 1
What an amazing day we have had! Today the team took our ‘Bluebells’ and ‘Daisies’ classes to perform at the Beastly event.
The dancers had the opportunity to perform some of their show dances on the main stage in front of a wonderful audience. The girls did amazing and loved every second of it!
Smiles from ear to ear, a happy vibe and teamwork pretty much sums it all up!!
The team are so incredibly proud of the dancers and we are so happy we managed to pull it all off with only a few weeks preparation! ❤️

ITS SHOW TERM! 😆
Each session is super busy with final preparations ahead of our show in June!
This Saturday we were super busy with all things show related!
Routines are being finalised, costumes are being tried on, uniforms are being purchased and so much more! ☺️
We cannot wait to finally show you what we have been working on!
From pointed toes and acro tricks to sequins and props, there’s so much to show you! 🩰
Yesterday marked a milestone for the teaching team… costumes are being packed! That makes it official…. Only 55 days until Show day! 😆

After a busy morning at dancing on Saturday some of the team had the opportunity to attend a local awards event hosted by ‘Scarlett’s smiles Spotlight’. Miss Jess chose to sponsor an award on behalf of Poppies due to the fitting nature of what Poppies stands for. Community will always be at the heart of what we do and that was the drive behind sponsoring the ‘Sienna’s siblings award’. The team had the pleasure of awarding some very worthy children, celebrating the acts they make to support their siblings through different struggles.
Poppies has always been and will always be community focused and our aim will forever be to create a fun and inviting environment for everyone. ❤️

Many of you will remember Miss Freya, who has been part of Poppies since the very beginning. ❤️
After our last show Miss Freya left to go on and study at university. She will however be returning to take part in our upcoming show in June, which we are all very excited about! ☺️
Miss Freya has been training hard in preparation to take part in the Manchester marathon this April to raise awareness and vital funds for a cause very close to her heart. Freya will be running the marathon to raises funds and awareness in aid of Target Ovarian cancer.
We as a school are very proud of Miss Freya and wish her the best of luck with her run! 🥰
