Gollynomics is a new and innovative approach, using an old-fashioned and well-loved favourite “Golly”, to raise funds for two projects in Ghana. Gollynomics is a brand created to support and strengthen the funding streams of Tetnight Education - helping children and young adults to gain education and training in Ghana, and LAMKOTET Agricultural Enterprise - a comprehensive Agricultural/Farming pro
gramme, which incorporates the training of young farmers, while supporting old farmers. Gollynomics is the brainchild of Charlotte Nightingale. Charlotte is a retired midwife, a RELATE trained counsellor and a Ghanaian grandmother. In her search for an inspirational way to attract donors, sponsors and investment to these twin projects, she hit upon the winning combination by bringing the Jolly Golly from the back of the toy cupboard into the light of day. It’s time for Golly to go global! We need to grow both programmes to respond to the wider need.
