Creatine is one of the first supplements many lifters are exposed to. Found naturally in red meat, it is also one of the more misunderstood dietary supplements out there.
My first experience with creatine began shortly into my lifting journey at the precarious age of 18. It was deliciously grape flavoured, mixed horrendously, composed with 90% sweeteners and had me farting like the best looking guy in a low security prison. My mother preached that she had heard it was a steroid and that my hair would fall out. She was half right, kind of...
Let's deal with the elephant in the room
Creatine is NOT a steroid. Creatine is one of the most studied dietary supplements out there, going right back as far as 1926. Yes, you read that right. Since then, creatine has consistently shown increased lean muscle mass and exercise capacity when utilised alongside short duration, high intensity exercise. Unlike many steroids, creatine is incredibly beneficial to heart health - particularly important in a world where kids are now dropping dead via heart attacks. π€
It's cognitive benefits are incredible too, repeatedly showing promising results with the elderly. It is showing improved cognitive function in those with brain injuries, alzheimer's and dementia too.
So who should take it and how much is needed?
Simple -

Micronised Creatine Monohydrate is King and the form I recommend. It is affordable, easily absorbed and accepted by most bellies. Timing is personal and 'loading' is not neccesary. Combine with Glycine and NAC for a solid all round health stack. Oh, the hair thing? It's a genetic lottery. If the hair is going to go, creatine MAY expidite it's drop rate.

With research now coming out and blowing the happy pill industry wide open with the findings that 'Depression is not linked to Serotonin Imbalance', many will find themselves a little lost.

What exactly is Serotonin? In a nutshell, Serotonin is a naturally occurring substance that functions as a neurotransmitter to carry signals between nerve cells.
What do the new findings mean? I feel a lot of people are going to find themselves betrayed and in need of direction, to circumvent a hole that big pharma and society have created in people's lives. If this is you, now is the time to take control.
Start with early morning sun exposure. Reduce blue light after sunset. Stop eating like an absolute pig and stop allowing people into your life who wouldn't know you were gone if you dropped dead tomorrow. Find a purpose and work towards something greater than yourself.

With everyone and their dog telling you that drinking more water is the best way to stay hydrated, is this really the best thing you can do?
Simply put, no.
Drinking more water can actually do the complete opposite. Stripping you of vital electrolytes when you sweat.
So B, what is optimal?
Add salt to your water. If you have an electrolyte powder, use it. When using salt aim for high quality sources - Malden, Celtic and Himalayan for example.
Add enough to reach the same salinity as sweat and you'll be ensuring that all that water you're now chugging because some nobby influencer or basic beesh PT instructed you to do, is readily absorbed and utilised to keep you hydrated.
Salt is life. My clients know it, now you do.
π Pro tip - If you're low carb, you'll benefit greatly from more salt.

Vitamins always seem to be the talk of the town however the REAL MVPs are the plethora of minerals that most people are severely deficient in.
I won't venture down the rabbit hole of why this is just now, instead this space will be used to drive home just how important these compounds are.
You see, minerals are involved in vital processes of the human body. Without them or in the consuming them in unbalanced amounts can have a negative effect on our health. Those vitamins everyone always harps on about? You need minerals to even access most of them effectively.
I've included a handful above with just a couple of their functions. If you're after any further advice, drop me a DM or simply ask below. In the meantime, grab yourself and your loved ones a high quality salt (Himalayan, Malden, Celtic) and throw out the sandy garbage that is closer to posion than it is anything else. β£οΈπ§β£οΈ

How do you choose to unwind?
For me, I spend whatever free time I have in nature. I could not fathom living in a city such as London, Paris or New York.
I am very low in trait neuroticism and I find that the urban environment attracts the highly neurotic kind.
This video was taken at Glaslyn, the highest body of water in Snowdonia (Mount Snowdon). Legend has it King Arthur's Excalibur is in the middle. Naturally, I had to go in for a cold dip. No sword though!
Taking time for yourself is paramount on becoming a Stronger Version of Yourself. If you can achieve this whilst challenging yourself, you're onto a winner.

Just another day in the office for .juci - new strength cycle begins this week and we're excited to see what we can produce. We gotta pump these numbers up because we KNOW what real strength is in there.
The importance of effective breathwork and bracing correctly is unmatched when it comes to moving loads above 80%.
J not only matched her PR but added 10kg to it.
You will see in the first shot (140kg) what happens when you're a little off. A little light-headedness is to be expected when pulling 100%.
Recoup and remember the movement pattern. Go again. 150kg for an efficient and new 1RM.

Glycine is one of my favourite amino acids to supplement with. I recommend it to anyone that I work with and for good reason!
Many people won't see enough glycine in their diet unless they are eating ancestrally as it is found mostly in connective tissues, skin and bones. 𦴠β
Accelerated aging can occur when eating large amounts of protein regularly, this occurs partly because of the increased methionine consumed. Glycine fixes this by subtly suppressing methionine and bringing balance to its process. π΄πΌπ§π§
Finally, sleep. Sleep hygiene is one of the cornerstones to the and glycine does an amazing job of supporting sound sleep. Who doesn't want to sleep better? π΄

Ryan working through the Primal Patterns.
I designed this program as a means to establish a way in which anyone could become a stronger version of themselves.
Utilising basic movement patterns, the user will develop an improved body awareness, strength, mobility and athelticism.
The beauty of the program is found not only in the simplicity of its instinctual movements but in where the user reaches difficulties in performing them.
When this occurs, I am able to learn a lot about their physiological health and furthermore - how and where to improve on it.

The decision to become a Stronger Version of Yourself starts with the simple act of getting started.

Most recently (for me) this meant committing to a minimum of 7 miles walking each day, of which 2 miles (30 mins) have been completed as soon as I wake. I have done this without fail for the last 3 months and the difference it has made across my health in general is incredible.
πΆπ½
My decision to do this began simply in adhering to the principles of the , however it slowly developed into refusing to go back to a less disciplined version of myself.
