Eros 4-way Formation Skydiving Team

Just like that, nationals is over for another year. And Eros got bronze again, for the third year running!

It's been a strange year for us. Matt Cu***ng joined us last year, when Joey moved back to the US. We had big plans! But they were scuppered when Travis hurt himself at the start of the season (doing a Tough Mudder, turns out not skydiving is dangerous).

The wonderful Jodie-Leigh Foster joined us so that we could still compete. With only 10 training jumps, and no tunnel time, we're so happy to have got our bronze medal. The battle with Apex and Alola kept us on our toes and made the competition even more fun. Topped it all off with a sneaky 30-way organised by Niklas Hemlin!

Had a great day visiting friends at Symbiosis Suits.
They showed us round and let us have a go at making some bungees for our rigs.
Couple of mistakes along the way but happy with the outcome.
If you’re ever in headcorn pop in and see them, the kettle is always on.
We’ll be back to try making weight belts next 😅

Great fun at the weekend competing in Indoor Nationals!

We only managed 4 hours training with Matt in the team so we're happy to have hit a 20+ average already!

Skyleague The last World Challenge, after a change of ownership, took place in April 2019, just a week before theFAI Indoor World Meet at Weembi Lille. There were still 71 teams from 20 different countries in Bedford in 2019 before the event was discontinued.

Eros are back! We've been training at iFly Basingstoke, getting ready for the British Indoor Skydiving Nationals 2022. Included so far is a go pro, some much needed knee pads and a lost pair of pants. Pretty standard training really 👌

Come join us on Saturday at 1pm to talk all things 4way. It’s literally one of our favourite things to do.

We had a great time at the Altitude Bros Scrambles event at iFly Basingstoke last night. Helen, Roy and Travis each joined a team for a bit of 4-way fun in a friendly competition. The Eros teams did well coming in 1st, 2nd and 4th. We’ll be back at the tunnel this weekend for some team training too!
