The good news keeps coming! Off the back of a double in the Hampshire Cup final, Matt Wise has been selected to represent Berkshire in their County Championship fixture tomorrow! The powerful back rower has been a class act since joining the club in January and his call up is the least his form deserves 👏

As one season ends, another begins ⏳

Off the back of a hugely successful campaign, Basingstoke RFC are on the hunt for players to keep pushing the club forward. With our 1st XV winning the County Cup and our 2nd and 3rd XVs both earning promotion, there's no better time to join our club 📈

Whether you're new to the area, a player looking for a new challenge, keen to return to the game after some time away or completely new to the game, there's space for everyone and we'd love to hear from you ✉️

One week on 🥹

Basingstoke 1st XV were crowned Hampshire Cup champions at Down Grange last night, pulling away from New Milton after a tight opening in front of a huge home crowd. Four tries in each half proved enough for the hosts - Simon Appleby and Matt Wise scored twice apiece before the break, while Matt Mairs, Sam Clarkson, Alfie Rowley and Oscar Rowley rounded off the scoring to seal a 42-8 win.
