⚽️ A Special Trip to Oriam! ⚽️

Our Reds and Blacks were invited back to the Oriam to train and play with Hearts tonight, and what a fantastic experience it was!

Amazing effort from every single player — they worked incredibly hard and it was brilliant to see just how much development there has been across the teams. 💪⚽️

A huge well done to everyone who took part — you should all be very proud!

Another busy weekend of football for our 2017 players, with loads of effort, teamwork and some great football across all three teams! 💙👏

🤍 WHITES
A really strong performance from the Whites today! 💪 Lots of strong running, great teamwork and plenty of goals.

⭐️ POTM: Ru – a great performance, getting on the scoresheet as well as showing some excellent touches and hold-up play upfront. 👏

🖤 BLACKS
The Blacks started strongly, keeping their shape, passing and moving well and getting themselves on the scoresheet. 💪

Despite being down to just seven players and tired legs towards the end, every player kept pushing and giving everything! Huge thanks to Aaron from the Whites for helping out towards the end. 👏

⭐️ POTM: Leo – an incredible work rate from start to finish! 💪⚽️

❤️ REDS
A cracking, end-to-end game with plenty of action! The Reds showed some fantastic football, great work rate and plenty of confidence to get stuck into tackles and take players on. 👏

A massive shout out to Zac, who played two games back-to-back and stepped in to help the team, pulling off some brilliant saves! 🧤👏

⭐️ POTM: Harry B – fantastic work rate, attitude and, as always, some great goals! ⚽️🔥

A huge well done to all our players this weekend. The effort, attitude and confidence on show was fantastic! 💙👏

A fantastic team performance with some tremendous football, excellent passing and a superb work rate from every player! 💪🏼⚽️

⭐️ POTM: Daire – brilliant work rate, passing and footballing intelligence, creating lots of opportunities for the team.

⚪️ Whites
A morning full of determination, non-stop running and plenty of quality football! Some excellent passing, brave defending and fantastic individual efforts.
Special mentions to Arann for his attacking contribution and Kerr for some unbelievable saves! 🧤👏

⭐️ POTM: Jude – a superb all-round performance, with excellent tackling, decision making and use of his body.

🔴 Reds
Two games this week and plenty of positives to take! The players showed great attitude and resilience, never letting their heads drop, great passing, tackles and effort from everyone continuing to work hard. 👏

⭐️ POTM: Auden – followed his instructions brilliantly and worked tirelessly to get the ball moving forward.

⭐️ POTM: Joshua – a brilliant performance, working tirelessly up and down the pitch and helping get the team moving forward.

A huge well done to all our players this week! 💙⚽️ The effort and attitude across all three teams has been fantastic. 👏

The players held their positions really well, moved the ball with some excellent passing and were rewarded with some fantastic team goals. 👏⚽️

Player of the Match could have gone to anyone, but we picked two very worthy winners - out newest recruits - both playing their first games for Bathgate Thistle!

⭐ Lucas — started a little nervous but grew in confidence throughout. Great to see!

🧤 Zac — making his first appearance as goalkeeper A calm and impressive performance with some fantastic saves. 👏

🔴 The Reds are back in action later this week against Whitburn, while the Whites have a free week.

What a fantastic first week back after the summer break! All three Bathgate Thistle 2017 teams faced excellent opposition from Armadale and there was plenty to be proud of. 👏

🔴 Reds – Brilliant teamwork, passing and plenty of hard work from everyone. Player of the Week went to Jack! A special shout-out to Adam Peden for staying to support the team despite being unable to play.

⚫️ Blacks – A tight, competitive game with great passing, teamwork and decision-making. Leo was named Player of the Week, with a special mention for Lewis K who did a fantastic job in goals!

⚪️ Whites – A superb performance with excellent football and plenty of chances created. Lots to build on as we move forward!

A huge well done to all our players, coaches and parents. It’s great to be back! ⚽️🔥

Our Friday Fun Football will continue through the summer holidays, every Friday 2-3. The session is open to all primary aged children including existing club players.
