Your free 5k running plan

So what is the criteria to get going

1) Have some 5k runs under your belt

2) have been running consistently for 3 months

3) no injuries

4) what to improve your running time and go for a PB

From 6am on the 3/04/23 the first session will be up for you to follow along to and last 8 weeks

It will be on YouTube for you to do when you’re ready and after 8 weeks want to do it again

What will you get

3 audio running session a week - all designed to get the best out of yourself. With dynamic warm up, main running sessions, cool down and stretches

One strength, plyometric and stability workout to be done once or twice a week - to build a stronger body, to run strong and finish fast

One mat workout class - to strengthen your core so you can your your full power

One foam rolling and stretching class - to help with recovery and reduce the risk of injury

Meditation - session to relax both body and mind and help relax and recover

You can start on a day that works for you

Day 1 running session -hills/speed work zone 5
Day 2 mat workout
Day 3 running session zone 4
Day 4 strength, plyometric and stability
Day 5 foam rolling and stretching (can be done 2/3 times a week, if you have the time)
Day 6 running session zone 2
Day 7 meditation ( good day to foam roll and stretch to )
