COREnecting Mums

Our beautiful private bay in Kefalonia where I contemplated my next adventure in life 🙏. Every morning for 9 days I swam in this bay on my own wondering if I would be ready for the start of my new adventure from September. Now that the time has arrived I finally feel ready (kinda 🥺) to announce that I will be stopping COREnecting Mums for the foreseeable future. There are many reasons for this decision and it's been one of the hardest ones I have had to make professionally, but deep down I know I am doing the right thing for my family and I .

I can't even put into words what an incredible 6 years it has been running COREnecting Mums ❤️. She will always be my 3rd baby 🤣. I have met the most supportive, strong and inspiring people who without knowing have allowed me to shine and embrace my true self everyday working with them . I will be eternally grateful to them for helping me create and realise my dream for those years!! It was never a job and I am so lucky I got to make an idea that was in my head for so many years actually happen.

But nothing is forever and as I grow and discover more about myself life always finds a way of showing you a new perspective . With this in mind I am SUPER excited that I will be joining University College London as a Sports Development Coordinator from Monday 🎉 . Amongst trying to decide the future of my business a few months ago this amazing opportunity came up and I am really looking forward to joining the growing team there on Monday 🤩

Good luck to all my clients for the start of the academic year....I will be thinking of you all! Looking forward to seeing most of you at our catch ups 🥂

Testing out these new beauties -Pegasus Trail 4 trainers for my 26 mile walk and runs in between . They are unbelievably comfy and after a 5 mile walk I am completely converted to these 😍

Loving my Monday morning walks to start the week especially in the sun 🌞 get out there even for 10 minutes if you haven't already!

I’m helping raise money for Alzheimer's Society by walking a Marathon in the Cotswolds on the 6th July with my sister .ndidi and bestie 🥰

Some of you may or not know that my dad was diagnosed with Dementia over 15 years ago and he is still here with us thanks to so many people, so he has been incredibly lucky in many ways. I  would love to raise as much money as possible (target £300) for the Alzheimers Society not just for my dad, but for many others including families that are living or have lived with this destructive disease. Any donations at all would be very much appreciated!

A huge GOOD LUCK to all of those running the London Marathon this Sunday 21st April including my husband!! Go smash it 💪💪

It's still one of the best experiences of my life when I ran it 8 years ago. The atmosphere and support from the crowds was beyond anything you could imagine so enjoy every moment😍

However don't forget after all the months of training it's also important that you plan your recovery sessions following the race .
This could include some walking, slow jogging , swimming ,yoga, stretching/mobility work, and one of the most important is booking yourself in for a SPORTS MASSAGE! This will significantly speed up your recovery time by releasing all the tension and tightness in those heavy legs.

I am truly honoured to be a part of the Active Minds project delivering boxercise to their members for nearly a year now. What an inspiring project ,which only went and WON health and wellbeing award!!!!! 🎉🎉

The project coordinator Jo (holding the award) is truly inspiring and works tirelessly to support those most in need across Croydon.

As a PT, client feedback is essential when planning programmes to enable a tailored plan to be created to suit my client's needs, goals and lifestyle. I invest a lot of time and effort into shaping programmes for each client as the key for me is not just a 'quick fix' it's about creating those positive and healthy habits for a life time. To the point that being active becomes the absolute 'norm' for them.
