The Yoga Philosophy Sessions with Mandy Meaden returns this Saturday 7th March 2020 at 10.30-12.30pm...
An opportunity for yoga teachers, student teachers and experienced yoga practitioners to come together & discuss what gets in the way of us achieving a state of yoga? What gets in the way of us being able to move forwards in life as we’d like to? Patañjali highlights likely problems along the way and suggests ways to overcome them, and his suggestions are as applicable today as they were 800 years ago. The world may change, but it seems we humans change very little.

On Saturday 7th March at 2.00-5.00pm we begin a series of applied anatomy workshops with Emma Lewis to enhance Deepen your Yoga Practice.

These workshops can be attended as stand-alone sessions, however each workshop with progress and develop from the previous. It is open level and all those interested in movement (yoga practitioners, yoga teachers, body workers, therapists etc) are welcome. Make sure you bring an open mind and your own knowledge and energy to the group.

Saturday 25th January, 10.30-4.30pm - Winter Warmer day-long yoga retreat with Krista Wills and Sophie Tsavalos
This mini retreat will warm you up from the inside out and restore a healthy energy flow; allowing the release of tension & stress whether mental or physical, through asana (Yoga postures), pranayama (breath work) & meditation.
Sunday 26th January 2020, 10.30-12.30pm - A Hatha and Restorative Yoga Workshop with Sarah Cattrall
This workshop will focus on breath and body work to restore balance by gently opening the body through classic hatha yoga postures. The session will end with supine restorative yoga poses which aim to rest the body and encourage people to focus on their breathing once more before ending in a deep and nourishing savasana.

Shrug that shoulder tension off this Saturday 18th January 2020, 10.30-12.00pm - with Lisa Harte’s workshop

Lisa will demonstrate a variety of ways to relieve stubborn knots and tension in the muscles of the shoulders, neck and upper back. We will practice stretches and exercises aimed at relaxing and strengthening the shoulder area; drawing on Yin and Hatha styles of Yoga, muscle tension release using tennis balls and stimulation of Reflexology pressure points to harmonize energy flow.
•
Open to all adults. Not suitable for those with high or low blood pressure or those recovering from surgery/injury.
•
