The momentum continues as our Reserve team take the field on Friday Night, all support welcome 🖤🤍

A historic day for Belfast United as our Reserve Team played their first ever match, taking on a very strong Derriaghy CC FC Reserves in a pre-season friendly.

It was an entertaining contest played in a fantastic spirit, with plenty of quality football on display and some excellent goals from both sides. While the result didn’t quite go our way, there were plenty of positives to take from an encouraging first outing as we continue to build this new team.

A huge thank you to everyone at Derriaghy CC FC Reserves for the game and the hospitality. We wish them every success for the season ahead.

After 5 seasons and 8 trophies in the BDFL the club has decided to move to the Northern Amateur Football league and have been accepted. We will begin our journey in the newly formed division 2D. Firstly we would like to thank the Belfast and District league for everything they have done for us throughout this special journey , and in particular Graham Evans. The club has gone from strength to strength in recent years and we are excited by this new opportunity but we will always remember our roots. Thank you to everyone who has contributed in whatever way because as we all know sometimes the small things matter the most and without you none of what we have achieved would have been possible.
