Have been pretty quiet on here the last while but thought I’d give a wee update.

In January I was officially signed off by physio and the surgical team at the Royal able to get back on a bike, first track day of the year didn’t get off to the most amazing start as the Ninja 300 wouldn’t start without us bumping it which resulted in me missing the first two sessions and a lot of oil down from the day before left the track conditions not the best but I still came home happy knowing I was able to get back on the bike and ride it even if I’m down on pace just knowing I was able to get back on and ride made me feel good!

Second track day same minor issues with the bike again and after the final session coming in and realising I’d probably rode half the track day with minimal break pads probably wasn’t wise either conditions where better today although the wind was strong, my focus was just to chip off a few more seconds and focus on getting back up to race pace. After the second track day I decided to not race Easter even though I had an entry in I just did not feel up to speed yet to compete on grid and have decided to wait till June to do my first round at Kirkistown.

Third track day of the year this year we decided it was time to put the ninja 300 on the back burner for a weekend and take the r3 out for its first spin around Kirkistown. First and only issue is the hight of the bike compared to my short self left me in an awkward position of having Jordan & Charlie holding the bike for me to get on and get it into gear and also catching me as I came into pit lane wasn’t ideal, once I got the initial nerves over me and set off I managed a lap before it was red flagged then we set off again I really enjoyed the R3 and achieved my best time since being back on a bike this year still a bit off my previous times last year but a few more trackdays and getting the confidence back up to lean and we will be getting there rightly, now just to get the bike set up for my height so I can actually get one foot on the ground to go racing 🤣

After a long 6 months with no bike riding after my crash we’re finally back on two wheels. Great day back managed to keep the nerves cool and get back out and do about 4 sessions, Sundays focus was just to get myself comfortable again on the bike after a pretty gnarly crash at Septembers race, pace was slow but I brought myself and the bike home in one piece and that’s the main thing 🩷🏁 ITS GOOD TO BE BACK ✊🏼

Hey everyone I had a few requests after the Tandragee bike show if I was selling my race tshirt I had made. I didn’t expect people to want one but due to having a few messages I’ve decided to go ahead and get a few made 🥹

This is a mock up of what the tshirt will roughly look like, please let me know if anyone would like one and what size and I can get a list made up to order the first batch, also if anyone would like the tshirt in pink let me know I can get you sorted.
