A last-gasp goal saw our boys come out on top in a thrilling 3-2 victory at 360 Hawkes Pickering in a JPL classic.

We started in brilliant form, with the 360 goalkeeper making some excellent saves to keep the scores level.

The deadlock was broken when a lovely move between James and Lewis saw Lewis square the ball for David to finish.

In truth, 360 hardly had a shot on our goal in the first half. We missed loads of chances and really should have put the game to bed by half time, deservedly heading into the break 1-0 ahead.

After half time, 360 stepped things up to create chances and found an equaliser with 20 minutes remaining.

Our boys pushed hard for the win in the final quarter but we were guilty of missing some golden opportunities, with the 360 keeper making more smart saves.

James eventually restored our lead after neat work from David to make it 2-1. Just as it looked like we would see the game out, 360 struck again to equalise with just minutes remaining.

However, there was still time for a hero and James finished brilliantly from a lovely Fynn cross to secure a dramatic late winner and take all three points back to Beverley in a thrilling finish.

⚽ WE'RE BACK IN ACTION! ⚽

Beverley Town under-16s are back in action this Saturday as we travel to face 360 Hawkes Pickering in the JPL league.

After a much-needed weekend off, following a whirlwind start, the lads will be looking forward to getting back on the pitch and continuing their unbeaten start to the season.

Last time out we kicked off our JPL league campaign with a convincing 5-3 victory over Pro-Elite and we will be hoping to build on that result this weekend.

It's been an encouraging start all round, with a 7-2 cup victory over Doncaster followed by a 1-0 win against UFCA, before an entertaining 6-6 draw with 360 Hawkes in the cup. 💪

This Saturday's fixture will provide another good test for us as a team and the lads will be looking to come away with another positive result.

A convincing 5-3 win over Pro-Elite saw our boys get their JPL league campaign off to a winning start.

Having raced into a 3–0 lead with goals from Fynn and Dima (2), we looked comfortable and well on top, creating plenty of good chances and we could have added more if we were not a little wasteful in front of goal.

Pro-Elite pulled a goal back just before half-time, giving them some hope and confidence going into the break. But we restored our three-goal lead when Bogdan scored to make it 4–1. Pro-Elite responded almost immediately from kick-off to make it 4–2 but a goal from David eased the pressure before Pro-Elite responded quickly again to make it 5–3.

Plenty of chances created throughout and, despite making things a little more nervy than they needed to be, an important three points to remain unbeaten so far this season.
