Jenette Humphris attended the Central Ballet School and holds ISTD qualifications in ballet, tap and modern. She graduated with distinction in Performing Arts from Doreen Bird College and embarked on a career in performing on the stage, screen and sea! Rehearsals are in full swing with vocal recordings tomorrow. The little ones are playing villagers, guards, Jewels, Sharks and snakes while our older children each have many roles. We have completed Act 1 and after the holidays will be doing Act 2 ready for the big show in June.

We are on the search for children between the ages of 3-5 years for the production of Aladdin at The Mick Jagger Centre on 28th June. This is the perfect place for children who have never performed before to those extroverts who love a microphone. No child show fees or Costume fees. Rehearsals start 6th January at St Mary’s Church Hall, Bexley 4.15pm -5pm

What a lovely start to term. The little ones met some beautiful puppets for Pinocchio and the older ones received their scripts and were excited to have their parts. The dance technique class learnt the challenging hip hop “Rotten to the core” . Great to see such happy excited children x
I am looking forward to seeing everyone tonight and welcoming some new faces. Bags are packed scripts are ready it is going to be a fun evening 😄

As many students move up to the older group we have spaces for our younger performers 3 - 6 years on Tuesdays at St Mary's Church Hall Bexley Village at 4.30pm.

The Musical Minis is presented in a fun age appropriate way. They will be dancing to "We've got no strings" using puppets (teaching posture and movement), singing "When you wish apon a star" with their homemade wands and acting like Dwarfs in Snow White. Many older ones may remember the vocal warm up for Aladdin and now the new little ones will be doing "Aladdins lamp, Aladdins lamp, Aladdins lamp and Mabu"

Thank you to all of you for my Bluewater voucher I purchased an Nespresso machine which is proving to be an essential with the prep for this term. I look forward to seeing everyone on the 16th September. Emails will go out today with scripts and info. We still have spaces in our younger class and MT dance technique so booking for trials will be posted later! Love to all
