15 finals were played including the inaugural Mystery Mixed doubles competition which was very popular with a great rate of participation.

This year also introduced both a Men's and a Ladies One-Point Slam competition which drew over 50 entrants from all sections of the club and proved to be great fun.

Many of the finals were hotly contested and befitting of the tennis talent at Bexley.

🏆 Congratulations Team Bexley! 🏆

What an incredible achievement for Bexley Borough, securing an outstanding 3rd place finish at the London Youth Games Tennis Finals held at Redbridge Sports Centre this weekend.

Competing against 32 London boroughs across two days of intense competition, Bexley battled through the group stages against Barnet, Havering and Hackney before facing Bromley, Merton and Hillingdon in the knockout rounds.

Every borough fielded their strongest players, and nothing came easy. Time and again, the team showed resilience, composure and determination, digging deep to win crucial points when it mattered most. When the competition came down to a nerve-shredding shootout, there were moments when nobody could bear to watch—but in true Bexley fashion, the team backed each other, held their nerve and delivered when it counted, securing a fantastic 3rd place in London.

An extra special congratulations goes to Ethan, Josie, Sam and Evie, with 4 of the 8 selected players proudly representing Bexley Tennis Club. A huge well done also to reserves Jamie and Smeraa, whose commitment and readiness to step in at any moment were invaluable to the squad.

A heartfelt thank you to Carla Coxall, who coached and guided the team throughout the entire journey. Your hard work, dedication and leadership played a huge part in this success—and we’re sure it wasn’t quite as easy as you made it look!

This was a true team effort, showcasing talent, determination and outstanding sportsmanship from start to finish.

🎾 Congratulations, Team Bexley – 3rd best borough in London! 🎾👏🥉
