Biggar UTD 1 - 4 Blackburn UTD

A hard-fought game today with only 11 men available, but the boys put in a great performance. Unfortunately, tired legs caught up with us in the end.

Our keeper Sam pulled off some great saves to keep us in the game, while Charlie Walker put in a fantastic shift in midfield. Both earn Man of the Match today. It could easily have been any of the 11, but these two just slightly stood out. 👏

All the best to Blackburn Utd for the rest of the season. 🤝

A massive thank you to our main sponsors Zest and Prestige Joinery, alongside our sleeve sponsors Specsavers Lanark and Direct Route Logistics, for their continued support. 💙⚽

Tomorrow, the boys travel to Addiewell to face Loganlea United Colts as we return to league action following a well-earned victory in the Scottish Cup last weekend.

Hopefully, we can carry that momentum into tomorrow’s game and come away with the three points. 💪⚽️

Biggar UTD 3-3 KSQ AFC

A hard fought point from the boys today in our first league game in LEAFA. We found ourselves 1-0 down after 25 minutes but quickly found ourselves back level after a cross into the box was headed in by the KSQ defender. We then took the lead after 36 minutes only to concede 5 minutes later to finish the half off 2-2.

The second half started off brightly and we managed to get a 3rd goal after 55 minutes. Unfortunately with 25 minutes to go we lost a player due to a second yellow. The boys dug deep and managed to hold on until the 86th minute when KSQ equalised and the game finished 3-3.

Goal Scorers: Lewis Robertson and Conor Monteith

Man of the match - Charlie Walker

Huge thanks to today’s sponsors Prestige Joinery, Zest, Specsavers and Direct Route Logistics.

Full Time | Biggar United 1–1 Gala Hotspur

⚽️ Chris

⭐️MOTM - Charlie Walker covered every blade of grass and was a real nuisance for Gala to handle. Also big mention for Callum gray and Ben Allan with a solid performance. 👏

Our final game of the season ended all square at home last night against Gala Hotspur. A hard-fought match and a fair result to close things out.

After 14 years in the Borders Amateur League, this marks the end of an era for the club. It’s been a strong final season — with a possible 3rd or 4th finish depending on results and reaching a semi-final is no small achievement, and the boys have put in a solid shift throughout.

Now it’s time for the next chapter… bigger and better 💪👌

A huge thank you to all our sponsors for their continued support, and to everyone who came down to back the team this season 🙌
