Today saw us travel to Halesowen to take on Gornal Athletic. Considering it was the first game of the season, the pitch was awful. Nevertheless, the girls started strong, battling and passing between themselves, communicating and working for one another. Some mistakes today led to some goals but we still pushed and pushed.

Our Manager, Bev, had this to say, "Didn’t deserve the result today, played some good football passing and moving, couple of mistakes led to their 2 goals but we know what we have to work on in training ready for next week. Well done to Leonie for coaches player and Taylor Rae for parents player, well deserved 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 onto next week💪⚽️🔴⚪️🔴 OWAW"

The management team have highlighted what needs work on and the girls will work hard and come back better and stronger.

Today was our last friendly before our season starts on 12th September! We played the year above highlighting we wanted to challenge ourselves. Once the girls got settled, we were playing some brilliant football. The passing, moving and confidence showed throughout the pitch!

Bev, From our management team said, "Great end to end match today with opponents that gave us a run for our money. Once the girls settled down and played their football the battle was won. So proud of all the girls their determination and dedication to each other is second to none. Bring it on the season! OWAW🐺⚽️"

Every girl should be proud of themselves. They held their own and worked so well. The management team couldn't be prouder of you all.

Wow! The 1st of September already! This can only mean the new season is fast approaching. 11 days until we get our 26/27 season underway.

The excitement is building! Our girls have been training hard, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and strategy. Everyone involved within this team are looking forward to seeing them shine on the pitch making bold partnerships and building those strong friendships. With our dedicated coaches and supportive parents we look forward to whats to come.

Whether its a win, a loss or a draw - we have our football family regardless. Fingers crossed for a good season and that means praying to the weather gods for the wonderful British weather to stay on our side!

Today we took on our first friendly of our pre season! It was hot to say the least but our girls worked hard. With some new additions it was nice to see the girls working well with each other and able to work together! The girls started slow but they soon found their fire in their bellys!

Bev, From our management team said, "Fantastic game today, the girls worked their socks off in the heat and against a strong opponent. They went 2-0 down and no heads dropped, which shows their maturity. They woke up after about 15mins and let the football flow. Some of the passes were brilliant and the work rate until the end was second to none. They definitely taught the opposition what they were made of with their pace, determination and fight for the team. Today I am damn proud with each and everyone one of those girls, they played for each other and the team work was off the scale. Congratulations to our Player of the match H.G, none stop energy today, fantastic work and well deserved 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 OWAW⚽️❤️"
