What have you learned recently?
What has grown or changed that you might not have noticed?
What are you ready to enjoy, acknowledge or celebrate?
And what might simply need a little longer?
Not everything has to be ready at once.
Sometimes we need to notice what’s ripe, gather what we can — and give the rest time to grow.

September | HARVEST
Week 1 – Gather
September arrives, and with it a new theme — Harvest.
After July’s exploration and August’s journey, perhaps it’s time to notice what we’ve gathered along the way.
The hedgerows are doing exactly that.
Blackberries are ripening, some ready to be picked while others still need a little more time.
And perhaps we’re not so different.
Not everything we’re working towards develops at the same pace.
Some things are ready to enjoy now.
Others are still growing.
So as we begin September, take a moment to gather what’s already there.
Gather. Notice. Appreciate what’s already there.
What do you already know that you need to trust?
Where might you be waiting for certainty before you move?
What would you do next if you trusted yourself just a little more?
We don’t need to see the whole journey before we begin.
Sometimes we simply have to trust ourselves enough to spread our wings

A year of intentional change - Energy well spent
August | JOURNEY
Week 4 – Trust 🦅
This month we’ve navigated our way.
We’ve paused to take what we need.
We’ve thought about resilience when the conditions get tougher.
And now, as August begins to draw to a close, there’s one final part of the journey…
Trust.
I captured this buzzard soaring above the hillside and it seemed a fitting reminder.
There comes a point on any journey when you can’t know exactly what’s ahead.
You can check the map.
Watch the weather.
Draw on your experience.
Listen to advice.
But eventually, you have to trust yourself enough to take the next step.
Nature seems to understand this instinctively.
Birds take flight. Seeds are carried on the breeze. The seasons quietly begin to shift.
None of them knows exactly what lies ahead.
What do you already know that you need to trust?
Where might you be waiting for certainty before you move?
What would you do next if you trusted yourself just a little more?
We don’t need to see the whole journey before we begin.
Sometimes we simply have to trust ourselves enough to spread our wings.

Summer Ladies Netwalk No. 2 — GROW
Another lovely morning walking, talking and laughing together
Today’s conversations wandered through relationships, exercise, food, the challenges we set ourselves and life in general — with plenty of laughs and support along the way.
No pressure. No judgement. Just women, fresh air, good conversation and good company.
Sometimes that’s all you need to GROW.
Resilience
What or who has tested you recently?
What or who has helped you adapt?
And what have you learned about yourself along the way?

Week 3 – Resilience
We’ve navigated our way.
We’ve given ourselves permission to pause.
But every journey also has the bits that don’t quite go to plan.
The weather changes.
The path gets harder.
Energy dips.
Something unexpected gets in the way.
Nature knows this well.
By August, grasses have been blown around by summer winds, flowers have faced heat and heavy rain, and plants have adapted to whatever the season has thrown at them.
They don’t stay untouched.
They bend, adjust and carry on.
Perhaps that’s a better way to think about resilience.
Not always being strong.
Not pushing through regardless.
But knowing when to bend, when to rest, when to change direction — and when you’re ready, to keep going.
What has tested you recently?
What helped you through it?
What have you learned about yourself along the way?
The tougher parts don’t have to define the journey.
But they can show us just how capable we’ve become.
Bend. Adapt. Keep going.
Etched in the memories for 2026
2015 I was on the playground organising Bilbrook Middle school to watch it then ☺️
