You have to come better with your goal.
Heres what we do ππΎ
"I just want to lose a bit of weight before my holiday"
"I want to lose X stone"
We don't get crystal clear on what we want! How can we achieve something if we don't know exactly what it is?
Use this method to define exactly what you want and then create a plan to execute.
1. Identify your WHY. Why are you going after this goal?
2. VISUALISE it, see thay future version of yourself. Who is she, where is she, what is she doing.....?
3, Put an END date on your goal. When is it going to be achieved by
4, What MILESTONES need to be hit in between?
5, Then create the HOW. How are yiu going to get from A-B?
You need to have these aspects included when creating your goal. Lofty goals dont work, becuase you dont know what you are aiming for you dont know how to get there.
Creating that GOAL is detrimental to your success so take it seriously.

How many times have you said, " I can't because of the kids" or thought to yourself "I'm a Mum so can't do that"?
Tell me how different would things be if you changed I cant into a can?
You know most of the time we say "I can't" and we actually mean I won't. Its more a case of what you are saying you can't to isn't something you consider a priority, and so you won't.
I won't do the workout, I won't start the Business, I won't go for that promotion, I won't take some time out for myself.
Next time you tell your self you can't think about what you are saying you can't to.

You can find so much advice about this topic online, some even backed by research.
However the reality is the best time to exercise depends on you.
Sure it may be scientificly better to get up and workout, but is that gonna work for you?
The best time to workout is when you have the time, when you can get it done and at a time that works for you.
Even that may not be linear, it may change each day!
Don't let the noise bother you or hinder your journey. You do what's best for you.
Most importantly just stay consistent.

This isnt me coming here to patronise you, or to judge you for feeling this way. That would make me a complete hypocrite.
My youngest turned 3 in July and after having a summer where exercise was practically non existent, i feel mentally about my body how I did after birth.
I had to check myself and remind myself that all i can do is make the changes to stop myself feeling this way. Yes its easier to do it from a place of love but if you aint feeling that way right now, no poin pretending. Get s**t started so in time you will feel love for your body and use it as the fuel to keep on going π

Getting results and getting them the fastest way possible is the ideal - right?
But taking that bit slowe and making sure you don't overload yourself will help so much in the long run.
Step off that merry go round of starting and stopping, how may years do you think we waste doing that?
Do it for a better life not just that wedding you have coming up.

I used to believe that doing everything else for everyone else, leaving myself till last and not doing anything for me, made me so sort of amazing person.
My god was I wrong, no surprise I suffered with my mental health.
As a Mum you HAVE to make you a priority, and make taking care of yourself one too.
I understand it can be hard to find the time to do that, but start small.
Oh and lose the Mum guilt π

Consistency or lack of, is the line between you reaching your goal or not.
The reason why so many of us don't stay consistent (as well as Mum life throwing those curve balls at us daily) is because we are too focused on the outcome, the end result, rather than the process.
Having these 5 things in place (a process) will give you a massive advantage in reaching your goal. The best part is they are simple things to do.

I read these words in a book on holiday and..... π₯π₯π₯
I'll admit this Summer has been tough. Ive questioned what im doing, doubted myself and wondered if im actually capable of achieving all the things ive dreamed of.
I lost my fire
This quote switched something on inside me.
This goea for all of us. No matter what it is we are trying to achieve. Whether its small or big you have to act like the person who can achive that would. Otherwise it WILL NOT happen.
Its that simple, tough to accept but its the reality.
You will not change your body being the person you are, thinking the way you do.
Make the decision to change everything today.
