We are an active and friendly club for all the family located in the heart of Birmingham at Edgbasto

Our main fleets are Solo, Enterprise, GP14 and Merlin Rocket but we also have Laser, National 12 and Fireballs sailing with us. The Junior fleet meets on Saturday mornings and sail Oppie, Topper and Laser and many also sail with the main fleet too.

Our RYA Level 1 Start Sailing course is a perfect friendly introduction to sailing for complete beginners — no experience needed at all.

📅 Course dates: 7th & 14th June 2026 at Edgbaston Reservoir.

• Build confidence on the water
• Gain your official RYA Level 1 certificate & logbook

A big thank you to all the racers who joined us for the Hansa Class UK open meeting. Your energy, skill, and perseverance through some wild weather made for a great day of racing.

Come and watch and support our Sailability participants in the Hansa Regatta today. There will also be other sailors with disabilities coming from all over the country to compete.

This is the biggest and most complex Open Meeting we run every year, and a huge thank you goes to our race team and all the volunteers.

We're launching a new Sailability project on Thursday 30th April 2026.
'Out of the Blue' provides free sailing sessions for adults with mental health needs every Thursday morning.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the Merlin Rocket Owners Association Open — Sunday, 15th March — to kick off the first Silver Tiller event of the year!

With the reservoir topped up and forecast looking fantastic, we’re really excited to host you and start the season in style.
