Successful week of work experience for one of upcoming Junior boxers Blake Hall. He has been acting as an assistant coach with Brad during our Schools Boxing Programme and helping Marcus to plan and lead on our community projects. Blake aspires to box for the club in the new season and has aspirations to be a sports coach in the future. Well done young man 👏 🥊

We are happy to announce that we are reintroducing female only boxing classes into our timetable. We are welcoming all ability levels to join us to learn the noble art of boxing through this bespoke programme. The sessions will run every Thursday 19:00 - 20:00 starting on June 4th. Our club and the Benson family would like to share the funeral arrangements for our beloved founder, Pat Benson.
We warmly invite all who knew Pat to join us in celebrating his life and honouring his remarkable legacy.
Thursday 4th June – 6:00pm
Pat will arrive at St Edward’s Church, 95 Raddlebarn Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 7DB, where a short reception ceremony will take place.
Friday 5th June – 12:00pm
Funeral Mass at St Edward’s Church, followed by burial at Brandwood End Cemetery, Woodthorpe Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 6EQ at 2:00pm.
Dress code: Traditional, formal attire.
Following the burial, family, friends, and guests are warmly invited to continue celebrating Pat’s life at the Irish Centre, 205 Wheelers Lane, King’s Heath, Birmingham, B13 0ST.

Our founder Pat Benson passed away this morning. Without him, our club would not exist. He created the legacy that we are now a part of. An incredible man, a community man and a great coach. A genuine boxing man. He changed the lives of thousands of people. We will continue your legacy and do you proud.
